Nothing could be further from my mind than writing right now.
I'm going to were-write instead.

No zombies. Just weres.

No Wereners, Werners, nor WBrains.

Just past tense-lookin' others.

Weres, not wasses, wusses, nor isses.

Our hands are always out to fellow ams.

As in Bermingham.

But I'm not there, nor here.

I was, but now I'm were.

Was up.

Then down.

Cue the clown, please, Mr. zBrown...

Lemme see the spliff walk, King James.

One time.

I got a fuel-injected budget.

It's full of gas.

Shut it off, buddy.

I had a date with the mad blotter. Then the Park closed that same day. I couldn't come back into the place from Merced.

Then I had a chance to have lunch with him again in Jamestown at Pete's with LostInShanghai and Ben. Obligations here.

I am were I am and can only be in one place and time at one time and place.

Not two.

There was some talk of this earlier.

Have you ever been told to shelter in place until you return from having gone missing?

You will be (most likely).

Remember when they sampled the holy water and found it was almost all contaminated with fecal matter.

I took upon myself to write to the Pope as follows.

Dear Pope:

God damn it to Hell, would you please get your sheeit together.

Then the seventies happened again for the twentieth time since Christ.

That holy water with the fecal matter may have its origins in places you may not suspect. I'm Jesus sayin'.

Ad crucem suam statione custodientes
Virgo leniter fecal materia
Stetit tergens a filio.

At the cross her station keeping
Stood the Virgin gently wiping fecal matter
From her son.

Stagnant Water.

No-o-o-o predictions here or there about the year 2033 comin' outta this corner.

When the clock strikes one, I'll be gone that particular New Year.

Either dead or high-tailed.

Just something to think about.

How much will ratings have climbed by then?

There are other silly questions around, but that's a good one.

Who's gonna celebrate the Crucifixion?

The Pope, no question.

There were no climbing Popes--I checked on that once.

Alexander the II in 1071 consecrated the rebuilt Monte Cassino, and one would think he might make this climb, 1,706', or its equivalent in meters, please yourself with little or no trouble in a medieval pope-mobile...

There is a story of St. Peter and some sacramental wine and a catacomb rescue, but it's unfounded. This is not that incident.

This depicts Saint Victor and his martyrdom,
but it illustrates the fact that

penalties for chipping holds on buildings in the Vatican
have always been given by heavily-prejudiced prelates
who couldn't get off the ground on some dead-five-oh.

Especially one of the LEOS. He had it bad, the fever, but couldn't muster the will to mantel. He had Humpty-Dumpty syndrome, I fear.

All the Pope's horses, etc.

The Church remains open.

But prejudiced.

I have no trouble with Falk's findings. I wouldn't trust Men.

So Einstein's connections were like 4G compared to banging on the ceiling with a broom for the rest of us except Chongo.

I see.

Clarity rains.

Today/last everning: Ramon's Taco Truck, Planada; up Jerseydale Road to a spot above Hite Cove; the Jerseydale Ranch Pumpkin Patch; the Mariposa Home and Garden Show at the Co. Fairgrounds; the new second-hand book store and creamery in town there; the Airport Bar's chili cook-off and a reunion with them Simpson boys, Isaac and Jeremiah, and their dad, Mike, and their band, the MOB; and top it off with a bouldering sesh out on Hwy. 140.

Man, what a Saturday. I'm bushed. Tomorrow. Manana.
