I am all for an off topic discussion or stupid argument to keep the bumps coming...just sayin...anyone got someone they are mad at and they wanna start an internet war?

Of course Leggs anything you want. I think word of mouth is what helps the most. And thanks!

This dog is really gentle. My little growls and snaps at him territorially and he just ignores.

Someone on MP told me about a Heeler rescue in Phoenix, but I definitely want to exhaust the outdoor community options first before a general city adopter search. There are 7 dogs on my block, yes 7, four different owners, who I am pretty sure haven't even been walked once in a year. They just get put out in the yard. Never exercise, never change of scenery. It gets me boiling mad.

Yes I paid to get him neutered, shots, and heartworm. I have a couple short videos of him, I will post on Youtube when I have a chance (tonight?) and post the links

From the other thread:

if you are in Phoenix you might call Carrie at Fedwell farms 602-316-8919 she is in north scotsdale and has a healler rescue . I brought her 7 dogs last week from Winslow . tell her Nadine from Winslow refered you

I am sure Nadine is not joking, it is sad how many "Rez Dogs" come out of this area.

Kudos to you for being so caring, and taking this guy in.

Still looking for a closer forever home than Moab... have a couple people who might be able to foster, though one has two chihuauas and I think this guy is to dorky eager for affection and will step on them without meaning to...

Hey come on guys this dog is making it the whole day while am at work with no toilet accidents! Plus he got out the back yard gate accidentally when the neighbor left the gate open, and I didn't know til too late, and he came right back immediately when I called him. This was even though he was several houses up the alley already. He's going to make the right home very happy.

Dog bump. I'd take him but I already got 5 dogs. I guess I wouldn't even notice another one.

Ah, yes - all is right with the world. Cybie is back living in her van, complete with dog. At least this one isn't as SCRAWNY as the last one. ;)

You gonna be in the Ditch this season? I arrive Sept 12.

"Cybie is back living in her van, complete with dog."

Hahaha, alas, I wish. I am sadly paying rent and working for the eleventh day in a row today at a psychiatric hospital in Phoenix AZ. I'm applying for jobs in a place I can enjoy the outdoors. It will happen eventually.

Doggie update- have a couple foster potentials, for which I am grateful. One has three other pets that are tiny, and I worry this eager thing will be too much, stepping on them in his happy enthusiasm. Haven't called the Heeler rescue because I first want to try to get him a specifically outdoors lifestyle home and also I am sure they are swamped...I've been busy working and do mean to contact there, though. Have someone from Denver showed initial interest but that's a long way away to manage logistics...though ultimately I am willing to try...I was feeling hyper after work one day when she called and I may have annoyed her off...

I am disappointed that over 2,000 people have looked and only a tiny bit of interest in taking him. He's such a good dog, everyone who meets him says so. I appreciate everyone who did reply, either on posts on either site or called or emailed. I have to take the time now to follow up on all the leads I've been given. Work has not permitted. If you're someone who said anything about helping out or maybe taking him and you haven't head from me or I haven't been very assertive about it, that's why.

I know a nice Hmong family who is looking for a dog.

And we know some gangbangers that would be interested in your daughter.

How many dogs have you killed for fun Silver?

If Silver is going to admit to killing dogs for fun then laugh about it online maybe he should go elsewhere.

Excellent job, Cybele, on your dog rescue project(s)!

Here's another great would-be crag dog that's been at the Peninsula Human Society for a while:

Doesn't anyone out there want a nice young Pittie named Bruno with excellent social skills? Sounds like a strong candidate for a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certificate!

Won't anybody in the SF Bay adopt Bruno?
