Kath, your flowers are sooooo pretty!! I love 'em.

t*r... I think you need to get married in Montana.

Dingus... Seriously, the doctors never did address if even had a COLD. Their goal was to determine I didn't have a stroke.
I would be lying if I said I felt GREAT right now, because I truly don't. I DID stay home today from work, so I think THAT'S a step in the right direction!

Docs can be as myopic as the next person leggs.

When I broke my neck I also had a nasty abrasion on my elbow with glass embedded in it. When they discharged me from the hospital I STILL had an open wound on my arm with glass in it. No one in Spinal ICU even remotely thought to check it... and I bear a sizable scar to this day too.

Anyway, there's no real treatment even if you did have the flu.

Get well leggs.

And. . . just in case you haven't found your cowboy, yet . . . maybe you need to come up here and go leanin' with me. . . you wouldn't believe how many DARLING young cowboys play up on Big Mtn!

They pull up to the ski area in their big ass duallies - couple bales of hay in the back - usually a Border collie or two. . . and they park the rig, hop out, kick off their cowboy boots, pull on some leanin' clothes, swap Stetson for helmet, grab whatever they lean on (both kinds-a-leanin' - ghey tray and skeez) and fire to the lifts.

Completely cracked me up when I first moved up here. I FULLY did not expect cowboys to lean!

:-)

One of my favorite things to say of the hospital is that, no, this is not Burger King, and you can't have it your way. So be thankful they let you keep the hamburger meat, Ding!

I had something similar happen in my recent injury. A nice couple of abrasions to my face didn't receive so much as a wet cloth cleanup. My wife cleaned it up since the wounds were weeping all over the pillows. She didn't stop her cleanup there. I decree my Doc wife receives an honorary CNA degree! You wouldn't believe what she did for me. The horror, the horror...

Medical situations often fall into triage mode where they treat the gushing wound, not what looks like a cosmetic feature.

Glad you left the spinal icu to climb another day too, man. I was fortunate to avoid that department! Although, I was close enough. I guess I mean to say I'm glad I avoided spinal cord involvement.

Wilbeer ... I so sorry to hear you have the flu. :(
That sucks ass and I hope you feel better soon. It sounds as though snow awaits. ~sending healing energy your way!

Hi Sullly ... Imitrex shots... oh how I do remember those. Delivery system of just one shot/dose which made me feel FUNKY before the relief set in. Well worth the FUNKY feeling.
I mentioned to the Neurologist I was an Imitrex user in the past (in my mid to late 20's) but because my migraines are so infrequent as I've gotten older, I'd not been Rx'd any migraine meds for years. Perhaps it's something I should look into again as I never want to experience the massive headache and pain I had on the right side of my face on Saturday and Sunday. ~xx

Jim ... what an interesting clip. I like the way the "main guy" talked about "cheating" and thus ending up with 3 spider bites. Ooops. He seemed to be moving pretty well as he and his companions continued their hitchhiking endeavor. (I look forward to watching the entire clip) Thank you for the laugh. You're good like that.

Jebus ... do you and Dingus need a moment alone together? :)

~Thank you all for the well wishes, the laughs, and the flowers. I'm heading into the office today despite the fears my colleagues will have that I will get them sick. I won't get them sick. I may pass on my case of the uglies, but I won't get anyone sick. :)

~Enjoy Life... Enjoy Good Health... and for those of you sick with the flu, listen to your body and don't push yourself too far.

I'm all about kindness!

It's like the Universe's black-out shade. Just pull it down and block out the unkindness. . . but. . . every once in a while you have to peek behind it so you can keep abreast of the stuff you're covering up!

Keepin' it real keeps the kindness alive!

Sullly! You get migraines several times a month?! This is alarming... are you okay? How do you keep your kind and caring disposition? (my goodness... Sullly, are there triggers such as exposure to light, stress, foods, etc. and are you likely to have to battle these for a lifetime? I'm concerned.)

Something beautiful to look at... and sound you can put on mute if needed... this one is for you. :)

The Larry ... thank you for the Enjoy Bump. I love the photo of the Grand Canyon... did you take it?
I've been in Tucson for 20 years... never been to the Grand Canyon. (Can you believe THAT?! I cannot, because I spent an entire weekend in Williams one time in my 20's, a mere stones throw from the Canyon, not to mention all my trips to Flagstaff. What the hell is wrong with me?! *rhetorical question*) :)
The snowman... did you make, and may I borrow the Snowman's tuxedo shirt? I'd rock the hell out of that shirt. :)

Thank you for the enJOY. I hope the cat(s) are well. {smiles}
