I had to write/read/research about death and dying, specifically the signs of upcoming death. Bummed me out. THEN I received the following poster from one of my Blue Moon girls... And I snapped out of it.

Yep. . . get this. . . I REALLY wanted to pull the trigger on a studio set up for digi and I had this Calumet catalog all marked and ready. . . and I made the big mistake of showing it to Blanchard. OF COURSE, he distilled it down to the bare essentials and made me promise not to buy a bunch of studio lighting until he'd had a chance to see what he could put together with stuff in the shop.

SOOOOOO. . . he took the 4 foot shop lights down, mounted them on frikken WATER PIPES, screwed them into scabby old plywood with some recycled flanges, bought some black fabric, made a black guitar stand, and ALLOWED me to buy a roll of seamless. . . and there ya have it. We could convert the shop from guitar shop to photo studio in about 15 minutes. . . a true atelier, indeed!
