Jaybro ... those are the BEST kind of jazz hands! (I'd like to submit my request to have her guns too)

;)

Susan, ALWAYS a Giants fans.... Forever.

I'm on a 6 day/week rehearsal schedule for a show I was determined to get back on a theater stage... a show I did back in 2004:
http://www.tucsonweekly.com/tucson/coming-to-terms/Content?oid=1075979

A two woman show, each of us play 16 (?) characters each... AND, I get to be reunited with my girl Martie, cast mate from "The Pavilion" (which I did in Feb. & Mar. of 2013) AND our director, Whitney from "The Pavilion" ....

Having this show, "Parallel Lives" by Kathy Nijimy and Mo Gaffney, back on a theater stage took a lot of hard work on my part, and I couldn't be more pleased with our little cast and crew. Show opens Aug. 9th.... *glup*
Crunch time!

I actually hate life at times, is that OK?

Or do I have to be manic about it all the time?

im halfaway through a root canal,
the doctor told me it was a deep issue.

so i flew the cookoo next
and climbed a 200' tree in
100 farenheit and brought it
down from the top,
19" at atime.

tons of sweat,
tons of pain.

i enjoyed the
500 dollars,
and the five i'buprophins.

life is like that.
hardly enjoyable most of the time.

halfway thru a root canal.
hah.

there's always tomorrow to appease the
shortcomings of today.

I'm sorry to hear you hate life sometimes, Erik... that sucks. Energy need not be wasted perhaps?

I've hated growing up without my mother... being shot at... raped...and somehow I always try to smell the sugar in the sh#t
and Enjoy Life... it's the only one I've got. It's been hard, but I've never hated it.
I cannot. Maybe it's because I have a child?
Or two cats?

And every fool knows, a dog needs a home, and...

I was at a job site once, a big box retail store getting ready for grand opening. A chaotic scene of contractors, retail employees, supplier reps, products, a thousand tangents and 10,000 tasks to be done.

One of the retailer's project managers paused in-stride to get an update from a team member about something or other, I just happened to be standing nearby at the time. (I can almost remember the guy's name, but its been 20 years now).

The project manager made a sour face, paused for a second and then said in a strong voice with forced joviality,

"Ya gotta love it!" And then, under his breath somewhat but still audible,

"Cuz if you don't? YOU'LL HATE IT!!!"

And off he walked.

It stuck with me, obviously, "The Choice." Sometimes we have no choice. This thread? Reminds us of the myriad reasons for WHY we should choose love, when we can make that choice. And it seems that we have that choice far more often than we realize... making lemonade out of lemons.

Yeah?

Hate life? Life is hard, but you make what you can out of it. So celebrate it.

I've learned in my nearly 52 years that to truly enjoy life, I need to seek to be a blessing in at least one person's life every day, whether stranger or friend....and that, my friends, has made ALL the difference.

And every day is a good day.....it's just that some days are better!

Mr. Bee is a great photographer! Those of us with prints are quite lucky, indeed!
I have an area in my new house I refer to as my "TenBee Photography Gallery Wall."

Kath.... cannot wait to see the final mat job. :)
Thanks for the kind words about my moonrise photo. I love this time of year in the desert.
"Holla, Chreeeeeeeeeees!"

Dingus... Well, you know.
Hangin' in there is always a choice.
Thank you for your words.
Check your email... I found your doppelganger.

Craig Mo ... (one word name?)
that's f*#king awesome... all those little chicken feet.
pretty adorable.

Crag ... RIGHT??

Rehearsal tonight was a blast... even though I was exhausted after coming home from the non-profit.... just utterly exhausted. I had to close my eyes for an hour, simply listening to cooking shows on PBS.
So glad theater is a part of my life... it wakes me up, makes me laugh, and amazes me constantly.

You already know I favor the middle picture... so much going on in those eyes...

My summer, Larry .... it's been full of motherhood, theater, climbing, trusted friends ... and beautiful sunsets, even on a bad day.

It's only just began...

Ah.... Erik, I'm right with you there.

Lisa Morley from that Jtown pic you posted is fighting the big BC with everything she's got.

I'm on my own tonight. Mommy is sick. So these two are both allowed on the table tonight
