That photo is very fitting. . . one of Steve's CDs is called "Along the Way"

It's really nice.

When Steve was doing Blanchard Guitars' demos at shows, I'd always ask him to do "THE PRETTY STUFF!" I'm a way bigger fan of the slow and pretty. . . here's one of those. . . from his CD, "Along the Way"

I will add. . . I really like how the "B" logo on this particular guitar stands out in the videos. Here's the headstock from another one of his guitars, "Big Red". . . that "B" is my claim to fame. . . Blanchard's mom, a Brit, exclaimed, upon seeing it for the first time, "Oh Maaahk, it's a heart!" . . .in her over the top British accent.

It's all I see, now!

:-)

Yeah. . . the FrikkenWebCam!

I met the NPS dad who is in charge of all the park's webcams. . . I don't think he has any idea how RAD the one at Apgar is. . . the one that looks out over LakeMickeyD.

That particular shot makes me think it's time to changes gears a little. . . out with the skeezin - in with the IckYaks!

Glacier National Park Lake McDonald Cam - in Apgar Village in Glacier National Park, near Whitefish Mountain Resort. *This cam not maintained by WMR.

I get to it from BigMtn's webcam page. . . and the above statement is under the one in GLAC.

If you blow that photo up, you can see what the OFFICIAL word is. I did not run this one through PhotoChop. . . which I sometimes do, to clean them up a bit.

P.S. CRACK ME UP. . . I think it SHOULD be called:

That's great, Kath...

"This, this is about my own some-day daughter. When you approach me, already stung-stayed with insecurity, begging, “Mom, will I be pretty? Will I be pretty? , ” I will wipe that question from your mouth like cheap lipstick and answer no.
The word pretty is unworthy of everything you will be, and no child of mine will be contained in five letters. You will be pretty intelligent, pretty creative, pretty amazing, but you will never be merely 'pretty.'"

My mom lost her hair several times, as well as her left breast, by age 33. During that period of time, as a young girl on the verge of becoming a teen, I was very protective of my mom, esp when others would whisper and stare at her bald head. She took me aside one evening and told me the following: 'Don't be angry at those who expect women and girls to be perfect. Don't allow them to make you mad because I am bald. I want you to accept yourself, always, and be gentle to yourself, as well as others, even to those who whisper and stare.'

Gloria Ramona Martinez, my mom... a wise woman who didn't let others get her down, ever. She was simply happy to have as much time as possible with her children, family and husband, not wasting time on being angry.

Enjoying Life wishing my veins were filled with my favorite salsa instead of blood.

If I drink it by the jar will that happen or do I have to shoot it up?

Just received some salsa I ordered from my friend John at Chilos Chile and cant stop wolfing it down.

chiloschile.com

http://shop.chiloschile.com/category.sc?categoryId=2

This stuff is incredible. Had many a salsa in my day and once you try this stuff- game over ----- if you like hot,get the red cap.

It must be the New Mexico sun and soil that give it that fresh, earthy pepper taste. Just the right combination of peppers and spices to start the party off in the right direction.

Thats right!!!!! The party in my mouth!!!!!

I said New Mexico not New York City?

for all of you that are familiar with this product that John has generously donated at most YCA Facelift Taco Fests and whatnot, be aware that he is threatening to deliver it in person this year. It would be great to see you John.
