Is this normal?
Chris
Chris, it's sad to say but the cam looks awful. Nobody should rely on it. It's totally not suitable for climbing and should be disposed immediately.
Unfortunately you should not just throw it away - some reckless student could pick it up from a trashcan go climb and kill themselves. It's too dangerous!
Don't worry I have a solution! Send it to me and I'll dispose it for you. This service is free of charge, you'll cover only shipping expense. Please ship it overnight (Next Day delivery).

I love that pic of the cam stack. That is just sick. I can't wait to try that. Is the stack in the photo weighted? If not I will do the weight test. If it don't blow with me on it, it should be bomber for all others.

Junk that crap & get some Metolius gear made in the good 'ol U.S. of F-ing A!!
Sweet, metolius is making big gear now? Or is just another "Buy 'Merican!!"(regardless of impracticality) mindless suggestion?
Never mind, just saw the child labor chestnut. Have fun climbing off fists on your American assembled cams.
