a bunch of wusses "discussing" excuses for their own weakness, submissiveness to criminals, inability and refusal to stand up for themselves, and general lack of guts, and other liberal vomit.

Man fatally shot at Florida movie theatre after argument over texting

BY TAMARA LUSH, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS JANUARY 14, 2014 7:14 AM

Authorities say a retired Tampa police officer has been charged with fatally shooting a man during an argument over cellphone use at a Florida theater. (Jan. 14)
WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - An argument over texting in a Florida movie theatre ended with a retired police captain fatally shooting a man sitting in front of him, authorities said.

Curtis Reeves, 71, has been charged with second-degree murder.

"Somebody throws popcorn. I'm not sure who threw the popcorn," said Charles Cummings, who was about to watch the movie "Lone Survivor" on Monday.

"And then bang, he was shot."

Pasco County Sheriff's officials said the shooting happened when Reeves asked 43-year-old Chad Oulson to stop texting at the theatre.

Reeves and his wife were sitting behind Oulson and his wife. Oulson told Reeves he was texting with his 3-year-old daughter, Cummings said.

"It ended almost as quickly as it started," said sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin. The sheriff's office says an off-duty deputy detained Reeves until police arrived.

Cummings, who had blood on his clothes, told a group of reporters Monday afternoon the show was still in previews when the two couples started arguing.

Cummings said the men started raising their voices and popcorn was thrown. Authorities said Reeves took out a gun, Oulson's wife put her hand over her husband and Reeves fired his weapon, striking Nichole Oulson in the hand and her husband in the chest.

"I can't believe people would bring a pistol, a gun, to a movie," Cummings said. "I can't believe they would argue and fight and shoot one another over popcorn. Over a cellphone."

Cummings, who said he was a combat Marine in Vietnam, said Oulson fell onto him and his son.

"Blood started coming out of his mouth," said Alex Cummings. "It was just a very bad scene."

A man sitting next to the shooter grabbed the gun out of his hand, and the suspect did not attempt to get away, Cummings said.

Chad Oulson died at a hospital, Tobin said. His wife's injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Tampa Police spokeswoman Laura McElroy said in a news release that Reeves was a captain when he retired from the department in 1993.

It's not immediately clear whether he has retained an attorney.

^I'm totally okay with people carrying concealed weapons in their own home.

and on that subject, this has got to be one of the most poorly written articles ever penned
CARSON CITY, NV - A scary situation for a Carson City homeowner Thursday night. A man, covered in blood, broke into a home. But the homeowner quickly grabbed a gun, and opened fire.

According to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong, a man was spotted in the area of Butti Way and Airport Road with blood all over him just before 5:00 p.m Thursday.

Minutes earlier, the man ran into a home in the 3100 block of Desatoya Drive where a homeowner opened fire on the man, as he was trying to enter his house.

The homeowner pulled out a gun and shot toward the intruder several times. Officials believe the intruder was shot in the leg, but it's unclear if that happened before or after breaking into the home.

According to the Carson City Sheriff, the intruder then fled the home and jumped a fence where he first spotted. He was caught by deputies nearby.

The man was then taken to Renown Regional Medical Center.

The residents of the house, the man and his wife, were treated for minor injuries. The Carson City Sheriff's Office did not specify how they were injured.

from most of the updates it appears he never entered the home, but was shot in the back yard after jumping the fence. and it doesn't look like he was planning to hurt anybody, but was running from another altercation.

like i said, the LATEST UPDATES point to him only entering the back yard.
Update: A man is being transported via Careflight to Renown Medical Center in Reno for a gunshot wound to the leg.
According to Carson City Sheriff Kenny Furlong, the man was seen running though the city's corporate yard area on Butti Way. He then ran into the backyard of home in the 3100 block Desatoya. The resident of that home reportedly fired several shots at the alleged intruder, striking him in the leg.
Furlong said they think this man was the only suspect involved. The man was said to be bloodied at the time he entered the backyard. Detectives were called to second home where the altercation may have started, said Furlong. According to deputies on the scene, several subjects are in custody at that second home.

Besides, it's not like he was carrying a loaded tube of biscuits or anything.

This is right in "Little TJ" e carson. This was gang related. And very possibly the reason so few details are public. Less people buying meth makes for angy gangers. Its starting to happen..

hey gun fans I found a coolio article for you...

Itís noteworthy that in all three cases the shooters were white men, or partially white (Zimmerman had some Peruvian blood and identified himself as Hispanic.) So far there hasnít been a case of a black man shooting a white person and justifying it on the basis that he felt nervous. That could prove to be the real test of the ďstand your groundĒ defence, whether dark people are allowed to kill white people just because the white person makes them nervous.

Until then itís best to remember that texting, playing music and eating in popcorn in Florida could be a fatal offence.
