Interesting about Tic Tic Boom. Though Rainy Day was lead once free off the shitty rurp, no one in their right mind would want to ever again. With the bolt added by Roy, the route is now more "approachable" and with the newish Gaines direct finish has become somewhat of a minor classic. I was happy to clip the bolt -- Thanks Roy!

Russ, years back I tried Tonic one day and for the life of me could not get anywhere near pulling that heinous move. Wish I'd had the above beta photo (not that it would have really helped).

Waugh and I did that thing one day in the way back. There were serious bets I couldn't reach anything. I believe I ended up doing the full flying fist jam into that crack to get it. I looked like Leavitt before Paisano Overhang with the amount of tape on that hand.

Sad as it is Randy.... for some circus reason I could do the hideous move pretty regular... must have done it 10 times or more.... I kept falling off that damn face above trying to put it all together. The only time I ever did the entire upper face without falls was when I did the whole thing. Never got it before or since. That upper stuff is some sweet climbing on great rock.

Hey Levy... did you guys ever move that bolt that you were telling me was a bad clip? I remember something about a relocation program a while back.

and yer slacking. this installment is up to 109 posts. time to refuel and board interstellar transport thread #11, where we will ponder the question: is the universe truly infinate, or is there an END to the MUSSY NEBULA, a wormhole to freedom, an escape from this black hole of wandering quarks, smashing protons, and random, flickering recollections???

Hey John Vawter - just now saw your question to me from almost a month ago. It's hard to keep up with all this stuff.

Denny Adams is the namesake for the Denny slideshow. I've sat through a few of them.

As far as Dennis Sullivan, I'm with you. How hard can it be in the internet age to track him down. I'm on it!
