The Puget Sound is normally visible above the tree-line, on a clear day. A hundred yards inland, the sky was clear, and a hundred yards out in the Sound, it was completely fogged-in. The wind was blowing the fog inland, and it was breaking up as it went over land.

ledge,
i was standing on a bluff above
the second boyscout lake,
looking toward mt. whitney in the first shot,
and then i turned around and captured
the clouds above lone pine in the second shot.

hey there say, guido... whew, scary stuff as to that kind of weather...

here are some new ones i've got... not the HUGE puffy ones of pre-rain, or etcs...

but fun:

kind of like 'herding sheep' haha, and penning them in:

:)

edit:
say, randisi.... as to the clouds you shared...
that just reminded me:
the other day, the clouds looked so thick, solid, and close to hand,
that: i near-felt i could hold on to one, and pull it down, as if it was a solid object...
