I have heard of Pete Minks in the past. He was legend.

I am sorry for everyone's sense of pain and low-down blues.

I am tempted to say something about dying while doing what he loved.

Instead, he sounds like the kind who did what he loved all his life and never looked beyond that or expected anything for free.

It's another case of I missed knowing a good man.

I'm sorry for that, as well. But I have my share of friends and am blessed in other ways.

It's a big world, you can't know everyone, and this sport is becoming over-populated anyway...
