Wow! I am happy Charlee is coming home! Like Jebus said, that is going to be one happy dog.

Now, if Charlee could only post a TR (with or without photos) it would be one interesting read.

hey there melissa... oh my, sad that your dog story, your friend's dog, was not happy outcome,as this one was...

climbers are so special to help folks and critters...

someone on the facebook pages, had posted a clip about a dog trapped in a canyon, that a climber found, and then went down to save...

*don't know how long ago, or where, or who, as i don't get youtube, but i thought i'd just add that info in...
(she is a dog-rescue gal, so she finds these things quite often)...
i had to let her know how great you folks are as to this kind of stuff...

So very happy for Charlee, Donna, and you.

Big hug to Will T. for stepping up; wonderful!

Keep Charlee safe, this doggy has a guardian angel, and so do you!

Hey John,
Glad you have Charlee back and doing well. The day she was found Susan and I were walking and saw a blue healer and thought of Charlee. And I shared what a powerful spirit she was during our City of Rocks trip. Good Karma indeed. Take care. David W

Charlee is improving each day. Today she even made a feeble attempt to go after the fresby.

Reading this had me in tears. I'm so glad she was found and you got her back safely. She looks like a real sweetheart. Big time thanks to Ben and Will for their generosity.

John, most dogs I have known don't like getting a bath or shower but most of them love getting blow-dried!

Phylp: She sure did get Blow-dried and, as you suggested, liked it much better than the warm bath in a warm room.

Just wanted to give another update. Charlee lived another year but the entire year she was on the decline. She had some kind of neurological problem. We took her to a Internal Medicine specialist and lastly to a Neurologist who said the only additional thing they could do was and MRI. We chose not to do this because the only thing an MRI would show is a growth and we were not going to expose her to surgery. At the last she would just walk in circles and didn't really know anyone. The dog, Tillie that I showed in the pictures didn't turn out to be a good crag dog so I gave her to my wife who loves her. I got a 9 month old rescue Border Collie, Sage, who is a great dog and goes with me everywhere. I love him almost as much as Charlee.

Hey, John: Sorry to hear she didn't last much longer, but you had that year. What an amazing story. We've had our own adventures in the Gorge with our hound. Thanks for the update. RIP Charlee.

Charlee was greeted by some special creatures after crossing The Bridge.

Thanks for finishing the story. Glad you have Sage. I'm thinking of another.
