I called home from the road two days ago and got a 50-degree temp shift. It was over 80 in Miami where I was working, but Mari said she'd had to scrape ice off the car window that morning at home in Seattle.

No worries Nita. Just get up an hour earlier and everything will seem normal. You'll be an hour out of joint with everyone around you, but if you're like me, no one will notice because they all think I'm a little bit shifted anyway.

The overnight low in Vancouver was +2 at the airport, but there was ground frost everywhere this morning. Probably a nice high-friction day at Squamish, once it warms up a bit, though lots of routes will have wet bits.

a balmy 19f from lacey in burns,

get it, burns,

actually burns gets burning in the summer, so best to head to steins pillar in prineville,

thanks all for checkin in,

dude friend of mine from canada used to drink til close then crawl under the car with a torch to heat up the oil pan ice drippin in his face, laying in cold water, how many freaks?

if the car don't start, 12 miles in minus 40 no good, not doable without 50 percent off treak or treat candy
