Dean...

This past July and Aug were just fine.

Rode my bike every day to work and back r/t of 35 miles on 6. 100-105F around 4ish in the afternoon was just perfect for the ride home.

Chief, that is one of my favorite views. You are very blessed to have it. I love where I live, in Wawona, but I also love that long distance view one can get on the east side. There is just something very special about it.

Rick, I suspect the day will come when the rigors of living at altitude will overwhelm me, and I will be ready for the lower climes.

With the views of the eastern escarpment from Bishop, it is no loss to leave the high country behind.

Good on ya!

Currently 25F, clear skies, no wind....in other words, yet another stunning day on the east side!

High's today should be in the mid-50's.

The more it snows here the uglier it gets, stay home in your comfy suburb.

Blustery night, which brought temperatures back up considerably. Low this morning of 40F....gusty winds and mostly cloudy, with intermittent rain squalls on top of slush.
