Time to officially welcome our newest taco to the Boulder area...Altiboo. Again, we'll meet at Old Chicago since the patio provides a perfect venue and it's easy for the Denver area and Boulder area taco to meet there.
The details:
When: Monday Oct 3rd, 2011
Time: 6:00 pm
Where: Old Chicago in Superior (100 Superior Plaza Way
Superior, CO 80027-1975, (720) 304-2048). This is right next to Superior Liquor at the intersection of Hwy 36 at McCaslin). Again, we will attempt to overtake the patio area - weather permitting.

Hey if Dr. Ed Hartouni vouches for Altiboo then I suppose I can drink a beer with him. Probably even give him a ride since he lives upstairs. Altiboo (Alton Richardson) is out here from Cali doing an internship at Climbing Magazine. He is a modren climber and unrepentant 'pad person', but I'll cut him some "old skool trad slack' since he is still such a youth...
Think this should be a great way for him to meet some 'local color'.
Old Chicago's is a good venue.
Thanks Crimpergirl for getting this rolling.
And SteveDub you should know by now that it is Colorado and anything is possible but if you don't like the weather just wait ten minutes.

Very humbling to the say the least! Thank you Crimpergirl!
Ed, again thank you for vouching and helping to make this venture more obtainable.
I'm very grateful for Philo and Carol for opening their home to me. Had that not happened I'd still be setting routes back in Livermore.
Working over at Climbing has been fantastic and is opening even more doors. But this is all topic for discussion elsewhere. Apparently a patio.
I'm really psyched, sorry, youth talk. I'm extremely excited to meet my new Boulder Taco family and to finally put some faces to the names I have been reading rant for the last few years. Monday should be a good night.
Tho Philo has called me out as an unrepentant pad person, I thought I would share a photo showing that he is only partially wrong.
And yes, I did place those Big Bro's.
Also:
You think Hartouni would allow pads in the 'ol 5.10OW? Nahh.

Should be fun! Wish all our other honorary Boulderites (given their titles at local HHs) were in town too.
Looking forward to some R&R.
