And if you just stayed at home I wouldn't have to read of endless bails.

Bails!?! We ran out of maple syrup and forgot our poppies. how do you expect a team of Canadian recreationalists to weather a rememberance day storm without syrup and poppies...

Are you saying that hauling 5 haul bags of syrup and whiskey instead of 4 up 75 degree slabs would have tipped the scales in your favor?

I'm a proponent of the Baldwin / cooper school. fix , drink, sleep in cumfy beds and blog from a proper lap top over a period of weeks or months.

Anything in fact to avoid hauling! That way wall climbing becomes almost as enjoyable as free climbing. Its a simple matter of trading in your portaledge for a few hundred meters of static.

That's a good ? Luke. Maybe we should subscribe to fishboys tactics, if he's a true aussie i reckon that him & Mike had some vegimite in the bag :-) Good send boys!

Yea that vegimite is some nasty stuff for sure. I got a few mates that are somehow powered pretty good by that infant fecal matter, seems to work for em'. Just trying to help figure out why Big Mike & Fishboy are so much harder than our bedtime story heros the 3 bears.

Harder? I dunno about that . smarter maybe but that depends on what turns your crank. Voytek Kurtyka once said the hardest climb he ever did was Nameless Tower, a piddily little wall climb by his usual standards of alpine style on technical 7 and 8 thousand meter peaks.

How about those guys on the Meru Sharks fin? You just don't see much of those major wall efforts these days. The Humingbird Ridge never quite took off as a classic either but there's no doubt about how hard you gotta be to tick that.
