This was a great gathering of great climbers; but I was not being very diligent as a photographer. Hopefully others will contribute.

jeff you have a lot to celebrate.
to know of men like yourself
sheds, for me, warm candlelight upon the often dark
mystery of life.

take care.

Super Happy Birthday Jeff!!
You are an inspiration to generations of climbers.
Always friendly to us all.
I don't think I've ever seen negativity from you.

We are all looking forward to Metanoia.

Sure wish I could've been there!

EDIT:
Great photo in the middle, the Lowe Bros, Mike Jeff and Greg, with a pink shirted Paul Sibley in the middle and Weiss on the right.

There were a lot of taco heads there. (There were even two that I had flame wars with years ago. I ended up riding the gondola down next to one, and he wanted to pat me down first. LOL)

Snowbasin looks like a great ski area. I never knew!

It was fun introducing Mike Weiss to Steve. Mike and Jeff put up Moonlight Buttress more than 40 years ago and Steve, in his thirties, has done the route repeatedly.

But it went the other way too. I had never heard from Jim McCarthy about how one of my heroes, Lionel Terray, was a slob who never bathed.

I also heard the backstory to the Gary Hemming demise from a principle in the event.

But where was Donini???
He was supposed to sign something.

What an honer for me! Thanks Jeff for the invite! Brittney and I had a great time. It was way cool to get to know Anastasia some more and to meet Mimi and Steve and to enjoy their company for dinner. As always Ron it was good to see you! So many faces I've been seeing and reading about over the years were in the house! And a private night time gondola ride down the mountain with the most beautiful woman at the party!!! Thanks Jeff!!! I owe you one....or two!!!

Thanks to all of you for the kind words and good wishes. It has been busy since the party. Connie and I have been working with Tom and Chelsea doing an aerial shoot of the old climbs along the Wasatch Front, From Willard Spires in the north to Lone Peak Cirque in the south. We have another day or so of filming here.

Connie really out did herself with the party. I was never too keen on a big party until I realized I could use the opportunity to thank all the family and friends that have made my life such a full one. The party was amazing for the incredible people it brought together.

I also want to thank the Taco Tribe for being the supportive, kind and sometimes cantankerous crowd it is. I love all of you.

Cheers, Jello

we've been flying every day this week, Wasatch Range, Tetons, Wind Rivers, City of Rocks, Sawtooths...

sorry...too busy with flying and HDV camera to catch stills of Warbonnet and Elephant's Perch

Edit: I had forgotten how much I loved the Idaho Sawtooths Range. Perhaps I never should have met climbers from California...

The Taco campfire at Facelift blazed brighter with tales retold of your birthday, Jeff.
