All I know is that I was scheduled to be drinking beer and listening to Willie Nelson, and now I find myself back on Floyd. Fearless to be exact.

I've always loved Pink Floyd, but I'm squarely in the Gilmour camp.

Waters seems a little too broadway for my taste, I'll take Gilmours ripping solos any day.

Waters was the heart and soul of Pink Floyd. Without him, the band does not exist.

Ever notice that there just is not one wasted word on Dark side of the Moon? That has to be the most lyrically perfect record ever made.

Pink Floyd's 1973 album, which received the highest number of public nominations for the registry, spent more than 700 weeks on the Billboard albums chart. The library called it a "brilliant, innovative production in service of the music."

Has anyone watched the "Dark side" playing against the "Wizard of Oz"....Interesting, (probably better with Nutmeg or Fungus) but maybe a little contrived.(You would probably only be able to get a straight answer to this Myth if you asked Alan Parsons.) Try it it out there, on utube. 40 years for dark side, I still think Welcome to the machine was better. Saw floyd in Oakland....80's can't quite remember but a solid show. They ran the pig (inflatable) up and everything. Missed the wall tour, heard the few shows they did were brilliant, but the production cost kept it to only about 5 shows ( if memory serves me Wright( hey, hey, hey).
