Hamlet with Ethan Hawk, Julia Stiles, Bill Murray, and hot guy from Twin Peaks. Surprisingly good. Excellent staging and delivery of "to be or not to be" monologue as Hawk/Hamlet meanders aimlessly through a Blockbuster store full of vhs tapes. By the end of the speech he's in the Action section. Nice touch.

Watched Vanity Fair with Reese Witherspoon yesterday. I give it a B.

Saw Breakfast at Tiffany's the day before. Great movie, save the Asian stereotype landlord.

Speaking of Sopranos, just saw Miller's Crossing with Gabriel Byrne. Offing people in the woods reminded me of the sad episode where Adriana gets chased down and shot in the forest. She was my favorite Sopranos character.

Just saw 20 Feet From Stardom. Superb documentary. Several parts gave me the shivers (in the good way). Others were quite moving. Amazing what the human voice can do.
