^^^ don't complain about photoshares. It's more fun and less ot than most stuff here.

Superstem = shortest approach in Yosemite. Kinda dirty. Easy to tr. Good summer shade.

I once watched a very 'accomplished' woman climber stem her way up an overhanging face climb. Made it look hard and awkward. I did it next with nary a single stem standing on all of the holds UNDER my feet. Stemming has a place but it ain't always a useful posture.

It definitely comes into play on overhanging terrain when there isn't really anything "under" your feet.
