Its insulting to have you say over and over again that liberals are against prosperity. We have disabused you of this idea, yet you persist.
How would you like it if I said that you like to screw dogs? And no matter what you said, I still said you liked to screw dogs? Would you find it insulting? Would you get tired of hearing it?

I dunno, Moosie... if there's one thing I've come to learn about these polititard threads, it's that virtually every person who participates is so locked into their way of thinking that no-one seems to shift their view in the slightest, no matter how compelling or repetitive the facts might be.
It seems pretty clear that the only reason people persist in these threads is because they just like the conflict (even if it's only e-conflict), because it provides some kind of social outlet, and/or they are just bored. If you can accept that these are the terms under which people participate, and that most really aren't going to learn, listen, or change...they become a little more fun.

Yes Lois.. I'm bored. I just recently figured out that a cyst on my tailbone is infected. Its probably why I have been getting sicker and sicker this past 4 months. So sick that I could barely walk to the end of my driveway. So thats why I am on the taco so much and I'm bored enough to talk to you, even though I think I have to be an idiot to do so. ( before you go indepth into it, I have had four surgeries on it, and tried many many many different things to get it to heal)
The problem is, that even though I am bored and talk to you, you drive away some very interesting people. Mangy Pheasant has said he wont post on a thread that you post on. So that drives away a very interesting person from the threads and topics I enjoy. There are others who have said the same thing. So I end up either talking to ap, whom I agree with mostly, or you. If you weren't here, then those other people might start joining in again.
This thread is so messed up, that I don't care that much about it. It sort of corrals some folks that I think are over the top. I include Dr. F at times, because I mostly don't read his posts when he goes on a tear. But I still think that he is a good guy, just a bit too strident for me. I probably appear to him the same way. Life is funny that way.
So yep, you frustrate me, and it bothers me that you drive good people away. I may be nuts, but no one has said that they wont post on a thread that I post on.. So what does that say about you?

Yes.. I was certain that you would turn it against them. Thats why I think I'm nuts to be talking to you. You think its always the other persons fault. And then when you are shown that you are at fault, you get pissed at the person who revealed your mistakes. Its an ego thing. Some day I hope that you get it figured out.

Fatty, and considerably deep consideration, says we should tax all internet sales.
This income will then replace the 700 billion a year Medicare and SS costs.
That was Friday, on Saturday he has a brand new plan to replace that one.

Yesterday Fatty was going to eliminate Medicare and replace it with a tax on internet sales.
Today, he throws that plan out and says "forcing" people with threat of JAIL to open health saving accounts is his new plan to replace Medicare.
Talk about flip flopping.

so it has to be true. Maybe even DEATH PANELS to stop gays having abortions.

During times of war, taxes are often raised and deficits incurred,
We are at war right now. Afghanistan and Your war on terrorism. So I guess its okay if Obama raises taxes and incurs a larger deficit. Thanks Jeff of affirming that.

Fattrid...Yes , John McCain is a very deep thinker...bomb , bomb , Iran...Palin as a running mate...Now he and Lindsay graham want to keep all the troops in afghanistan indefinitely which means growing the deficit more......McCain is against everything the Democrats want and this includes turning the economy around...The republicans are so desperate to gain the whitehouse that they will stoop to anything and everything to make obama look bad even if it means running the country into the ground...The republicans have taken partisan politics and hypocrisy to a new level with their anti-American policies...
