Supertopo friends-
As part of our efforts to raise more money so we can return to Switzerland later this winter to re-create some key scenes from my 1991 climb on the Eiger for the film we're working on, we've launched a plea on a fund-raising site called www.Kickstarter.com. The project is called Jeff Lowe's Metanoia (also the title of the film), but the link below should take you directly there.
I'd really appreciate if you'd go there and watch the video plea, then make a pledge at one of the reward levels, which start at $1, so anyone can be involved. Also, please consider passing along the information and link to your family and friends or even your entire mailing list. It's a numbers game, and the more supporters we have, the more the burden can be spread out, etc.
Jon Krakauer has agreed to narrate the film. More good news will be released on jefflowemovie.com and on a facebook page in the next few days. Of course, I'll try to keep Supertopo up-to-date, as well.
Many thanks,
-Jello

AC, I can't find a way to link directly to the project, but Steve's right, just type in Metanoia or Jeff Lowe into the search feature and it will take you there.
Supertopo is such a reliable well of support...thank you all!

EDIT: SteveW's link above is correct, but I can't seem to make it active.

Yeah Matthew, go to the top, search and type in Metanoia, really cool video. I'm as dumb as they come with computers and I got it, so don't let me down! This project deserves the funding to get done! Nice job so far Jeff, hard work as you well know will pay off.
Peace

Awesome. I only wish I could contribute more... but I put it up on my facebook page, so maybe that will get at least a couple more people than otherwise would have seen it and I can contribute that way?

Dry your eyes, eKatarina, I'll come back as a smoked oyster in a can and be gobbled up on some beautiful granite wall by a wonderful soul like you, but there's still a lot of time before that's gonna happen. Among other things I loved climbing for the problematic challenges it offered. These days I don't have to get up early for an alpine start, there's challenge enough whenever I rise, and a lovefest wherever I go.

EDIT: thanks for posting the correct link, Conner. I should have waited for you to do it. And thank you for your loving committment to this project...and to me.

You're an inspiration, and a hero in so many dimensions (including a heckuva cool voice on this forum).
Can't wait to see the film -- it's a fantastic trailer, left me yearning for more. Beautiful to see you with your daughter as well as all the inspirational climbing scenes.
Namaste,

Second time through, your movie trailer is even better!
Lots to ponder in there, and the most inspiring title ever.
And your senior moment at the microphone -- priceless. I can relate.
Poised recovery. Nice!
Love you brother,
Doug
