What was for lunch at the Railyard this weenend?

Lunch? LUNCH???? What kind of pansy are you? Lunch? Lunch is for people too weak to climb through their hunger. I had dirt in my eyes, dirt sifting in through every opening in my clothing, dirt in my ears, and dirt in every breath. THAT is what was for lunch.

But, dirt aside, it was a good day.

A pleasantly cool morning with good views as we headed east

Getting into that Railyard mood

When we first started exploring we thought it would be all bolts, but this one is almost all gear, and the climb I was scrubbing when I took the photo will be entirely gear.

Sorry that you couldn't make it, but taking care of our four-legged friends is more important than our own pleasure. How's puss?

Tidbit is in the clear. Looks like your routes are too!

I hope the dessert was worth the extensive salad course! LOL

I seem to remember someone talking about a Railyard Grand Opening Pig Roast. Maybe not the pig part, but roasted meat is always assumed(unless you are Nature). Although I've been there already, I have yet to climb there. Soon will I. Anyone around Tuesday?

I'm good with Saturday - less traffic. let's get the reservation in ASAP.

Heck, maybe I'll just stay in Seattle and catch my flight the next day.

Oh, you know those kinds of investigations can really drag on and on!

And now that the economy is just starting to recover what will this do to
the consumer confidence index?

Nature came back for another visit to the PNW. But this time (as far as I know) there was no Erotic Cabaret, just Father's Day with his father, some whale watching, and a return trip to one of our favorite places to eat. He promised he wouldn't take any pictures of the food, but I saw him sneaking at least one, so maybe he'll post it up. Sea snail sashimi, I think with mango.

I didn't take any pictures either, but here's one that didn't make it into the original story. It's him low down on the Index climb Rattletale. I think he was wearing the same hat last night.

The conversation was so good I wasn't paying too much attention to what Hajime was pushing on us.

I do believe it was mango with the sea snails (I had to take a photo because I've never eaten snails).

Thanks again for meeting up with me, giving me a couch to surf, and for the glass of your most amazing beer.

Ghost has shared beer with me that I feel is second to none. Grossman will tell you (well, he probably won't because he wants to horde it!)

This weekend I'm off to LA to meet up with The Tacos kev - we're headed out on a shark boat to snorkel with blues and makos.
