Well it's seems the armor is a little cracked in the LA locker room.
They looked STUNNED last night at the end of the game.
SOLID win by the celtics and when Allen and Rondo get going, there is no stopping that combo..
triple double anyone?

celtics in 6 in LA...
holla.

big game tonight! First of three in a row in Boston.
Can the lakers shake off the hang over from sunday night?
Will Ray Allen get more 3 pointers?
Will Garnett get some points?
tune in tonight.

I'm going with the theory that that Celtics have the edge in mental toughness, still. If they can keep coming and coming at LA, the golden boys will crack. Maybe not Kobe, but the rest of them.

Waiting for Artest to throw a punch and get suspended. Where was Pierce in game 2?

Celtics in 6 baby!

Oakland: what's not to love?

Long suffering Trailblazers fan here, I learned to hate the Lakers in the early 90's, so I'm pulling for the Celts.

Kobe is going to do his damage no matter what. The key to beating him and Jackson's triangle offense is to stop the two guys behind him: Gasol and Odom. Let Kobe go for 50, just don't let those two beat you. That's how to beat the triangle. How many titles did Jordan win before Pippen and Paxson/Armstrong turned up their game?

Here's to hoping Kobe gets 35+ field goal attempts. Problem is, he and Jackson are both too smart for that. Hate to say it, but Lakers in 7, maybe 6.

The celtics have a deeper bench (which really is the key to this series).

Plus on any given night the celtics can be a four headed dragon. now that Rando has turned into a star: KG, Ray, Paul and Rando. If all those guys catch fire in one game it's impossible to beat them.

I don't see LA in six... it might go to seven. To win in six they need to take two of the next three IN Boston.

Tonight is a huge game for Boston. Win this one and you pretty much guarantee seven games (or these series before that).

"Billy, you ever seen a grown man naked?"

Rondo was a machine on Sunday! Looking forward to tonight's game.

I am with Jaybro - I actually like watching this series, do it most every year.

Where was Pierce in game 2?

He was playing defense. However, I don't think the Celtics win without Pierce turning the offense on at some point. Ray isn't going to start 7 for 7 every night...

Game 3 is traditionally the clincher for the series.

Let's go Celts! Like someone else said, our bench is deep and we have age working for us rather than against us.

So there.

I leave those guys to play one game without me, and what happens?

Like Erik sez, this series is where it happens! I don't even watch before the playoffs. The finals is where the art happens; 8, 3 pointers, that's almost like Shanti sending, that's Game!

How's that parquet workin'?
Looks like the Lakers had toughness takeout before the game.

The reffing in this series has been so morally questionable as to make
an Italian soccer ref blush.

Nice nuns! Maybe you were at the opposite end and missed Allen's two two-handed shoves of Fisher that weren't called or Rondo's grab of Odom's wrist. :-)

More Celtic nuns, please.

(good firsthand report Pate) I'd just like to call out the ABC coverage . Marv albert and Doug Collins is where it's at for basketball commentary . Jeff Van Gundy et al suck .

Cool shots Pate, I was tweaked about some of the tweets, PP had 5 PFs in about 10 minutes of total play....c'mon giving Ron ROn the benefit of the doubt?

But the C's didn't do what they had to down the stretch be any means.
