Susan -- that picture is so totally the opposite of the mountain biking I did that it's hard to believe it's even on the same planet.

Still, anytime you can get off road on two wheels is a good time, right?

Here's a picture (lifted from the web) of what we were doing on the North Shore bitd. I think when you say "North Shore" now people think of all kinds of man-made jumps and bridges and planks in then sky, but back then it was just trying to find ways of dropping down through 3,000 feet of steep coastal forest.

Great picture Guido

Reminds me of Monthy Python's climb of the North Face of Uxbridge Road. Gripping stuff.

how often have you showed up at the post office, only to find it closed during business hours?
also failed in your mission objective by leaving the camera behind on a trip to the p.o.?

this afternoon the brick flower bed retaining wall, and the window framed by bricks
were bashed right into the lobby and yellow caution tape blocked the sidewalk.

the diagonal parking space leading to the trauma bore three trails, identical
but for their freshness, of brake fluid discharge arcing into the space.

it's nice to live thirty out from a small town where one can wheel on into
the same parking place three times in a row ... till the fluid's gone.
