Tami,

That is the lower back above the last pitch above my sister's gluteus maximus. Weirdest accident in the family archives. She was staying at the beach house of her son's bride. The afternoon on the eve of the wedding, she took a nap before dinner. Feeling the call to the ladies room and not under the influence of anything other than Benadryl, she failed to see the need for more light other than that of a dim nightlight.

With that darkened thought she believed she was seating herself on the toilet, which she wasn't, instead placing herself on a ceramic trash can that splintered and gashed her back and a little lower.

Those are the facts; although the Emergency Room doctor asked her 3 times if she had been drinking. He wouldn't accept her response of no and that she doesn't use alcohol or any other illicit substance. As I told her, she probably doesn't need to start.

Stahlbro, cool pic.

↓ No, she is semi-retired. She had to lay down in a small Kia SUV to travel home from Charleston, SC to Alexandria, VA. She stood throughout the wedding. Today she said it was healing fast and had no pain. The best day since the accident (Oct. 2). Sitting is a problem when required. I don't relish that thought.

She keeps asking me "where is the taco?"

Thanks Tobia. That was at the bottom of a slot canyon in southern Utah. Last place we expected to see fresh bear tracks. Tracks looked like a momma and 2 cubs. It was a little nerve wracking until we came to the first intersection with a side canyon. It looked like the bear family went up one branch, so we opted for the other ;-)

That is one crazy picture and story about your sister! Hope she is all healed up.

Tami and Stahlbro, sis said no bleeding today and she's ready for staples to come out.

Stahlbro, bears can be spooky, no telling where they will show up.
