Hey Edge,

There is something satisfying about doing dovetails. I haven't done any in quite a while, but they are a beautiful holding device in metal or wood.
I won't be doing much in the near future since I'm contemplating surgery for a herniated disc.

Steve, same versatile joint, different scale. I love hand cutting dovetails, I get to listen to music and get in the proverbial zone. These are new to me, through dovetails with mitered corners on the ends. Something different.

Good luck with the surgery!

Yakutsk

'The Road of Bones' - aka the highway built with Gulag labour, literally. Here, prisoners who died at work were interred into the fabric of Stalin's Kolyma Highway. Without a rail link to the city, the highway is the only major land route into and out of Yakutsk.

"A woman returns home from university. While most of the city's population are indigenous Yakutian, many ethnic Russians and Ukrainians have moved to Yakutsk."
