High Fructose

Like I said and must repeat you are a fool number one.

Your mental speculations were originally enunciated by the impostor Kapila, and not the real Kapila.

So there's absolutely nothing new about what you're saying/implying and has been known for a long long time before you ever appeared.

Your root hypothesis is nothing more than based on the atheistic manufactured sankhya yoga.

The real sankhya yoga by the real Kapila will ultimately produce the proper desired results that are unbeknown to you .....

"But meditaion, at its most basic is just thinking, quitly thinking, and removing and the bullshit and noise in an attempt to get to some kind of truth."

Actually Riley, true meditation is non thinking. You're trying, through stilling the body, to get past the mind's OCD AM radio broadcast to that place of deep stillness within you.

Buddhism refers to it as emptiness. All the great masters taught (and continue to teach) finding that place within of perfect stillness. Your mind might still be gobbling like a turkey on speed, but you realize you are not your mind. Your mind is a tool for you to utilize in your daily life, but it is not ultimately who you are.

Eckhart Tolle does a great job explaining this in 21st century language, and with a lovely sense of humor, too. But it's difficult. Simple, but difficult. You're having to retrain hundreds of thousands of years of mental conditioning..."thinking" in a very limited sense.

I meant to touch on this in your email, but got lost in my mind. ;-)

For those who don't know, Atheists Incorporated, founded by Madelaine O'Hare, is a legally registered, tax exempt religious organization.

Some might call this hypocrisy.

As for naming Gods I agree with the Hindus when they say
God has many names and forms
with the Taoists who say
He who knows does not say
and
The Tao which can be named is not the true Tao
with the Buddhists who illustrate their point with at least 25 different names for what others would call God
Original Mind, One Mind, No Mind, Only Mind, Emptiness, Nirvana, the Dharmakaya, the Cosmic Buddha, the Great Being of Radiant Bliss
which they switch between with regularity to try to keep us from dragging the Divine Essence down to our lowly anthropomorphic level.

It used to be Jehovah's name could not be pronounced either but once it was, look where that led us.

If not a fool, at least a wandering, wondering guy with some real insecurities about who he is and where he came from and where he is going.
Pretty frustrated dude eh?

Here's a picture of the suicide bomber that attacked the Moscow subway on Monday. 17 years old. Next to her, her militant Islamist husband who was killed previously.

How much you want to bet nobody in her culture ever convinced this 17-year old the Abrahamic narrative of the Abrahamic religions (J,C,I) was a story, is a story (not meant to be taken literally but meant to inspire through myth and metaphor) and not reality esp in its supernatural doctrinal features.

What a waste.

"He is risen."
Only in story form, not reality.

Thought it beared repeating on the new page. Pate wrote-
"To start with- what's the new deal with people demanding that threads be deleted. I thought the way of the Taco was that once a thread existed, no matter how repugnant it may be, stays a thread forever.

What's up with that Moosie? Who died and made you judge and jury?

This thread is the smartest OT thread started in a long, long time.

The letting go of a couple thousand years of mumbo- jumbo and smoke and mirrors will mark the greatest advancement in the history of mankind.

Why is it that in every single aspect of life humans evolve, grow and develop at an exponential rate while at the same religion shackles our world to archane, ignorant lies?"
Thanks for the inspiration, Pate.

Hey Pate, nobody died and made me judge and jury. I got a right to an opinion. Right??? that was my opinion. On the day this was started there were a number of religious threads that Corn syrup was complaining about. So he starts a thread which is about the religion of no god and I pointed it out to him. He wants no religion but his religion. He complains there are too many religious threads, but starts another. If he really wanted less religious threads, then he wouldn't have started this one.

Yes Moosie

This proves that God exists.

They want to deny or say God does not exist.

Then the next very minute they unconsciously imitate God and start some nonsense.

This is why they are called fools, rascals and mental speculators.

All of science shows we're evolved beings, comprised of 100 trillion cells. Constituted like this, how could there be a lifeafter?

Think it through. Day after day. While taking science courses in cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, neuroscience. And a bunch of electronics courses, too, for extra measure, which teach about information theory, data processing, memory, signal transduction, feedback control, etc..

Science and engineering education over time makes it pretty clear. Mind is a product of the brain. Mental function (mind) is what the brain does. No brain, no mind.

LOL, and this is a religion. You believe that Science/chance/chemical mishmash created you and you worship this and want others to worship it.

So I ask... What created the chemicals?

No John- Challenge yourself. Draw a distinction between religious thread and religion-related thread. Here's an analogy, hope you like it: Though a dolphin is fish-like, it is not a fish. Get it?
