It is nice to have a wildlife hotspot 5 minutes from my house. Up on the lower UCSC campus. Woke up a bobcat this morning, saw the coyote last weekend.

This little horned lizard has stacked out a section of the backbone trail for a couple of years now. I nicknamed her "Hermie" and dubbed her the Saddle Peak mascot.

I don't know if he's looking for a handout from the tourists, or what, but I can't get this close to the ones in my yard.
