Fart noise! I wrote more than that!
I can not figure out where it went.

The climbing route 'One Step in the Clouds', a VS graded climb at the BMC-owned crag of Craig Bwlch y Moch, is one of the most popular and frequented rock climbs in Wales. However, the left hand retaining wall of the tricky groove on the 4b graded first pitch was in imminent danger of collapse. Inspections by the BMC and a number of experienced climbers identified a recent rockfall where part of the retaining block had fallen away and the remaining rock (approximately 20 tons in total!) while appearing sound

Leaving this scowling countenance

So here in re-hash I'll fail to convey, with mirth,
the thing I'd tried to and had said.
When I pushed save changes I was un-signed in.
And the fixes to the above post vanished,
now it may be an hour or more of chores before I'm able to try again.

I've got some pictures to re-size, and am due to, in the most presidential fashion,
pass the lunar/solar meridian, on all burners, of my life !

Sad to say the actual mid point of my life will only become apparent after my death.

So ring a bell and for my wife as well
We share the date
or off a day due to the sunrise
She is older by a dozen hours,
we were not to get along
for in many a way she is Different
Stable? Well, that is debatable. She married me, but that was due,in part, to the imbalances that hard climbing causes in strong women.
Another thing that puts the o in Olof is her contradictory stance, damn near hypocritical:
she swears to be a tea toteller, and wholly anti drugz, but forces "Suppliments" down my gullet with out over-sight,

Also often feeding the PMS struck sprout let some sort of "Chinese" 3000 yr old "Feel Good"
Pills. I'm more anti, or into purity of herbs than she.

Dang it it hits me when I've got plans to,.,.

From ;
~Falling Up, a Seperate Reality~

On my next attempt , I took the ride again the spectacular failur after the inversion led to an upside down swinging falling that left me dangling and the three of them in fits of giggles.
there were pictures of this !( Dana Hauser !)after swinging off, then re-climbing to before the start of the roof ,
so, in-glamorously, a slack line led from my turned 'in'; away from the direction of the climb 'headless' torso back to my high piece,

Direct Aid

three and a half days
stealing the route from cooper
was "grand theft half dome"

it took some fi-fis
two hundred ninety-five pins
one pitch took six rurps

"sterling aid climbing"
that is what Steve Roper wrote
three and a half days!

nineteen sixty-three
has it not been climbed all free?
uh...Mister Ondra...

zBrown, why would you not find a picture of Steve and Eric Beck if you searched for Roper. Mid-60s, I'd guess.

Four Days on the Direct

My second Half Dome route
June of '79
I learned how to nail
And the weather was fine
We never saw the free holds
Beyond our own skill
We just climbed and we climbed
Until we had our fill

All our fingers were toast
We were paying our dues
And at night on each ledge
We would welcome the booze
As we stifled our fear
With tequila and weed
Now I look back and smile
At the child and his need

I climbed some for approval
But mostly for love
For the earth and her mountains
And the blue skies above
Knowing life would be short
As I relished each day
Those things haven't changed
But the thrill's gone away

But I cherish those moments
All the years on the stone
Now the storms and cold
Chill me down to the bone
But I'll always look fondly
On those climbs and the craft
Though some people have told me
That they thought we were daft

But we relished the sharp end
And those days on the rope
And the big walls that called us
With our fears and our hope
As we gathered our courage
And would push right on by
While we aspired to be birds
All too briefly we would fly

Roger, I was cryptic (some folks say I do that a lot). The search was on Steve Roper and Mike Nomad.

I'm not saying that Google should be logical mind you, but I'd think that that foto should pop on Steve Roper or Mike Nomad. :)

Date is right.

gets worse

Wobbly trestle

If you're turning 70 1/2 don't forget your RMD's and rust truly never does sleep (I'm told)

Rust is a part of life. Anywhere there is metal exposed to the elements, there will likely be rust and flaking metal. Whether you have old rusty pipes in your home or a desire to buff the rust off of your vehicle, if you plan on spending any time around this type of iron corrosion, you run the risk of rust ingestion or iron toxicity.

Small amounts of rust in your system is not dangerous — in fact, trace amounts of iron is necessary in order for oxygen to be distributed throughout the body — but ingesting too much rust can lead to health issues at best and death at worst.

...

The bigger concern with cuts and scrapes from rusty tools is the bacteria that is likely to accompany the wound. Specifically, the bacteria Clostridia, which also grows in soil and feces, is the one known to cause tetanus (also called “lock-jaw” because of its characteristic stiffening of the joints). Because the bacteria only grown in the absence of oxygen, deep wounds that are not properly flushed are especially vulnerable to the infection. Small scrapes on the surface of the skin are usually not.

Kind of embarrassed to say that I've never watched this vid.

Dualing slides.

Shouldn't Garcia rightfully/righteously have been playing pedal steel on this with Pigpen on vocals?

Good morning. The closest El Diablo Naranjito ever got to gentility was when he was three, maybe four years old and his wet nurse, Marie, a lithe New World Ape from French Guyana taught him French. The little tyke, proportioned like a fifty pound Longhair Navel Orange, bounced around his rubber room screaming "MOI! MOI! MOI!. But that's not important right now, Billy.

The End of Liberty

Half of my good family
Would be turning in their graves
If they realized a poser
So reprehensible and depraved
Would take the seat of power
And our liberty enslave
To think that things aren't dire now
Is both ignorant and naïve

I find it hard to understand
How someone could believe
A man born with a silver spoon
Who's never had to grieve
Would give a crap about poor people
Or any beneath his class
He'll never be my president
He such a monumental ass

I abhor all things political
Can no longer watch the news
I'm unplugging my TV set set
Just to listen to the blues
I certainly won't adhere to one
Who can't understand the grace to lose
He'll never be my president because
He's never paid his dues

So go ahead and pray to him
If you think he is your God
Turn over all your free will too
And give this fool the nod
But don't be shocked if his indiscretion
Comes to bite you in the ass
When you resigned all of your freedom
To this monumental ass

Critical Crypt Chronicles.

A part of the Inauguration Ceremony is the laying of a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier
on the day before the swearing in, at ANC, resting place to over 400,000.

It doesn't matter who places it, really, as long as he's an incoming C-in-C.

One sixty-fourth of an inch. Close enough for government work.

Very good poems--again ~ no critic--and my thanks, Bushman.
