Now, watch. . . next time around I'll be a needle point instructor at a rec center.
And funny as hell. Did anyone mention that?
(Oh...yes...only a couple dozen times. D'oh!)
From her days of being a YoseClimbingNorseGoddessBallerinaFisherwoman, and driving a PURPLE VW van, to her repairing her own roof in the Montucky snow...that gal has seen some adventure!
I too look forward to one day sitting around the fire with her, listening to tales of yesteryear...laughing my head off.
Cheers Kath!

Word, Ms. L.
I often wish she didn't live at the far reaches of the Earth, though.

Love that eKat. She's cool, up, kind, and makes herself useful - all the right stuff. I'd share a rope or a beer with her any day.
And, it's amazing how much different stuff she's done.

Yeah, I have small hands and that neck was too much for me. And well, I have no clue.

^^ keep on keepin' on. Mr. Gomez would probably like to get his mitts on Will's guitar, if only for a song or two.

First time in Camp 4 after a 2 day hitchhiking ordeal, most of the last day spent at the entrance gate to the valley, and a bad nite along side of the road... very frustrating.
I finally get a ride from a worker going to work who drops me and my friend at Camp 4.... early morning.
I have a splitting headache from lack of caffeine.
But I have made it to the most holy place in all of climbing and I have a few weeks to enjoy myself.
The first thing I see is this very cool blond "chick" sitting at a table and she looks at me, smiles and says.... "would you like a cup of coffee?"
I had found my guardian angel.
Thank you for being you.

Interesting story about Pat Metheny. Thanks. Back in my high school and college daze he, Jaco Pastorius and Eberhard Weber we some of my favorite musicians. Loved just about anything the ECM label put out.

I must say, on the OT side of this thread,
That is one suave, sturdy-built night soil processing unit!
BTW,
I speak fluent outhouse:
(Darn, that didn't come out right … Crap, I mean cripes … Nevermind, I better quit while I'm behind … RATS! Did it again!)
Anyhow,
No doubt, eKat you are the numerator by which all denominators are judged!
(Okay, that was awkward …)
Lemme try:

Ditto. Wild guitar from both sides of the fence on that equation.
Yes, like a Cubist daydream, telepathically constructed between Picasso and Braque.
