I do Laura,

My wife and a friend who happens to be a girl wear them and they even look better than Bolton in them (sorry Bob)

I hope to get some good photos tomorrow if it isn’t raining too hard in Idyllwild. Don’t worry folks I won’t post too many more old reports :-)

Stonemaster Knickers

Edit: John, yes but I actually only sell that line in Japan. Kind of a shell of a website that needs developing.

Hey Mr. Graham, Thank you for the info! I've been locked up in the pharmacy for way to many years. My learning curve for ST is huge. But as I've said before about the incredibly kind inhabitants of this place no one has ever addressed me in a post as, " Hey, Dummy", tho they sure could! Good grief, I didn't even know there were other climbing forums on line until you just told me.

New topic: Have you ever considered reviving the Jim Bridwell paisley shirts and vests for your clothing line? They'd look good with the pants you have.

Mighty Hiker: I'll have to bring something nice to the Facelift for you from So Cal for all the information you have provided me since I walked through the Taco Door.....avocados, wine?

It's raining and hailing here in San Diego, last week it was 100. Peace and Joy, Lynne

You're welcome!

Not sure about the avocadoes. But I did see an advertisement for a Mob killer. It said "Artie chokes. Three for a dollar."

Oh Man--I am sooooooo all over those white knickers!

Just ordered some Stoneys of my ownies. Thanks Mike--I'll let you know how much better I climb in them than regular old prana-pris. Judging by those two StyleMasters that day at the Portal, I'm expecting a two number-grade increase at the very least....;-)

does anyone know what the supertopo hits / unique user info is -they must have it for advertising purposes? they should also have information for the fourum specifically.

I would love to know if there is just 50 of us with nothing better to do but post, nag, flame, gripe, etc. or whether there a couple of 1000 lurkers out there

My tips for driving up views and postings:

1. "Thankyou: bolts added on South Crack 4th pitch" - an appreciative post thanking the unknown climber that added the bolts to protect the 5.7 blank sections.

2. "(Insert name of well known climber) dies in needless climbing accident" - doesn't have to be true, but we will everyone reading the thread to figure out if we would have made the same mistake. More views if said climber is truely hated (rap bolter?) - people will read the thred just to make sure...

3. "What knot should I use for rappel" - the fishing equivalent of what fly/bait do you use; everyone has an opinion. Some of the rigs and combinations are so complex that I barely believe anyone finishes their rappels in the daylight.

4. "Epically epic - 10 out of 10 on epic scale" - cos we all love to read about a good epic; sleep deprivation induced halucinations, benightment, inadequate clothing, canniablism, same sex spoonning, drinking your own urine, etc. They all make for a good yarn.

Thanks Laura,

You should have them Saturday if the PO works overnight there. Everyone tells me you’ll pull the BIG numbers in em!

Good one Rich, looks like the ball is in your court. I think the bolting scenario would incite the biggest riot around here.

Please, someone put me out of my misery. I need to STOP thinking about Bridwell's electric blue paisley vest and shirts. I think they would look great with Graham's white knickers. If the majority think I am wrong tell me, PLEASE.
(Can you tell I like the cloth scene?)

Rich, thanks for the great giggle, I see the epic's in my active Far Side imagination.

Mighty Hiker - you are suggesting artichokes? We have plenty and I could actually cook them at the Facelift one evening.

Peace and Joy this evening, Lynnie

Ok, now we're getting somewhere and I can put the paisley question to rest. We have one yes vote for bringing back the blue.

Mighty Hiker, I just realized your Artie Choke reply may have been a joke. I don't know any artichoke jokes so I can't tell. lrl

LOL!
Lynne! Look at this thread's huge response ! (I love it!)
Don't worry Lynne, the numbers do not represent the interest.

I agree with Mojede and a few others on that when something is said/written well, few are able to comment on it. More people are just reading it feeling so happy and content that nothing is said. If we were around the campfire, people will just be giving Graham their full attention in respectful silence. His story is interesting enough without people adding in silly stuff.
(Thanks Graham, I too loved the TR...)
:) AF

P.S. I agree with Lynne about the troll, he needs to be redressed!

Perhaps it was an arti-joke. :-)

The paisley vest may be worth a try, though it's a bit bright for my taste. Still, some do like that colourful clothing.

Maybe something in organic cotton, tie dyed? Or does it have to be synthetic or silk, for the eye-popping effect? Fashion isn't really my forte.

Ditto what Anastasia says - when working on the would-be index, I've noticed that many of the best threads aren't necessarily very long.

Anastasia, my friend, where have you been? Are you still with me on the ST Book Club? Are you settled in from your move? I have missed your posts! Is your new job o.k.?

Can you fill me in on your troll comment, I am not intelligent enough in the ST speak to understand. Hate to admit my stupidity, but it keeps me humble. Humble is a good thing. I need to get used to it as I make my way into the real climbing the rocks world. Smiles to you. Lynne

Thank you Mighty Hiker!

That's two for paisley (make it subdued in organic cotton.) Can be done. No votes against the Bridwell paisley so far! Yeah!!!! You all really would comment on this, IF YOU KNEW HOW IMPORTANT IT WAS.

Do most people wake up and go to work or climb without taking a careful look at what they are wearing? Hard to believe?!

Know anymore artichoke jokes?

ANYONE, IF YOU READ THIS AND DO NOTHING ELSE HUMOR ME AND ANSWER THE PAISLEY QUESTION, please. Peace and Joy, Lynnie

Rokjox, You look well dressed and happy in your picture despite your lack of H2O. Are you now wearing dull clothes because you are experiencing a general malaise in life.

I recommend a Jim Bridwell paisley vest in the same orange you are wearing in the picture as a pick me up. Maybe you won't keep breaking yourself then!!! Peace - Lynnie

John Moosie, I will get it. It is on Todd Gordon's Jim Bridwell Thread within the last month. I am new so I will have to figure out how to move it from there to here.

ALSO- When I was looking at 200 of the best climbing photos from mainly the past I have ever seen, I found one of Mr. Bridwell and two of his friends. Jim had on the vest I believe and his friends had on two different paisley shirts. Radical.

Does anyone have a speaking relationship with this hero? Perhaps we could get him to post a couple of paisley pictures if he knew how important it was. Retro Baby!
