hey there say, lilabiene!!! wow, some of us were sure hoping a birthday thread would show up here... (me, i feel asleep on the job) (and not sure, for the others, but we were off the ol' radar) ...
but superhero joy-givers, abound here:

Just want to say thanks so much, again, for all of the thoughtful birthday wishes!
My repeat blood work all came back within normal ranges, which was good news to receive on my birthday.
Managed to thrash about in the pool twice this week, and am headed out in a bit for a third round of humiliation. I'm confident that at some point, my muscles will remember that they actually ENJOY this activity...
Thanks for the training "nudge" Anders. A goal is the perfect antidote to a winter spent inside and working.

P.S. So up until last July I swam regularly -- frequently 6 days/week -- and thought I was in pretty good condition. My third time back in the pool this week, I beat my old 50yd time by over a second. Makes absolutely NO sense!!!!!

I'm buried under a work landslide (not complaining -- was for too many years without!), so I haven't had much time to do anything but lurk here and there. It feels awfully nice to be thought of.
