$1.5 million in pot seized in Delhi, north Merced County.

It would take one guy 427 years to use up all that stash, according to Deputy Smiff.

From one balding intellectual to another:

Tim, "to imbibe" means to take in liquid orally.

You "indulge" when you partake of Mother Nature.

One forgets these things when one forgoes the use of cannabic substances.

Perfectly understandable.

Nice poem, sir...Moe would approve.

Made the local news for a day then long forgotten.

Oct 31 2016, “Sheriff busts big marijuana processing center at site of old county airport” [San Andreas] in Calaveras County a stoned throw from here. Serious they had truckloads of the stuff [two-and-a-half tons] of drying and processed cannabis snatched.

photo Union Democrat

“A Sheriff’s Office statement said workers came from Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico as well as from Bulgaria, Iceland, Colorado, Ohio and California. The statement said workers from Hispanic countries reported that they were not in the United States legally.”

I am sure it went to good use for somewhere. As in giving it to the CIA and selling it to one or any of the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Arizona [the worst for having possession] or Louisiana. As for:

one of those states will put you away for life.

Funds would be for more ventures as in interfering in Venezuela elections. As for Sessions [years ago] said it was OK to be or have the KKK hanging around but when he found out they smoked the stuff he put his white coat and hood in a box and stored it in his basement and stopped going to their meetings.

Dirty Climbing

When I’m dead and gone to dust
I hope some antiquarian trust
Will display me with a proper bust
And my old rack brown with rust

On the wall should be a plaque
Commemorating my attack
On climbs such as Serenity Crack
La Escuela and The Grack

Down to the Rind

When I slid forty feet down the Marginal, Grack
I bemoaned the face climbing instead of the crack
As the cheese grater grated me mostly away
I knew I'd be parmesan or cheddar that day
And was grated away almost down to my pack

The Flames Advice and Cheese Shop recommends the Parmesano for those wishing to make America grate again.

On a day like today, the ninth of October, four years back, but cloudy;
twas spent perusing gravestones in Catheys Valley, in part;
and the humility of field stones was quietly observed and recorded.

Edit to answer query:
"How's the boy been?"

As my grandpa used to say,
"Any day you're not being fed intravenously is a good day."

I seem to have to keep that in mind a lot lately, but the outdoors are just out the door. And the proper salve for the soul.

Any one else remember this Skiing poster?
a picture of a busty girl in a yellow jump suit, un-zipped to the waist, showing off the 'goods'
with the phrase "KEEP YOUR TIPS UP"

ha! found it !
there seems to have been a change in the phrase, switching out the original, "your" for the "those"

http://www.vintageskiworld.com/Lange-Classic-Ski-Poster-Tips-Up-p/poster-lange-tips-up.htm

If you check the reviews, there is one that mentions the way that the original was worded

The true depth reached after a perfect sending summer passes,
having only roped up twice -

not to the wall that I have gone to every summer
weekly and weakly,

but I've always gone.

for at least twelve years

I consider it mine.

it's my damn wall for gotd sake why else would i be . . .

when you go from 2 whips to one the only ride for the family (1)

so ya cant leave it park'd, for sure not where I want to leave it parked.
& that one, all wheel gas-guzzler is the winter car, in May.

The culmination of material car, ownership, a gyp, when all thats need'd

a windshield four wheels and an engine ,
is wrapped in more than just
comfort,
Like a drug you become addicted, to the essence of the thing.

and those creature comforts a mobile cell that sustains life.

the thing was my rocket ship,(2)

was

the small stone wall the last wall I hope to ever build

stopped that car and the thieving system, that is full coverage,

took that . . . BIGGER ON THE INSIDE . . .magic mov-it-over -I'm-passen you power.

just came loaded it up, then drove it . . where?

there was a nervous call from the adjuster,

"I can't find your car"

That set off bells -hell descended-

The -not my zone- but to the other, or to be checked by the owner ?

much more white bread cracker

tump'luv'n bubbas stole my car

That place! i didnt know they had two lots in the same town exit 11 & 12.

What place did they take the car to!!??, that was a hard moment for her to.

She may even feel as badly as I we used to rock that whip. we made it ,
it was always big, that small rocket ship,

Wait a minute, are you saying, m'ren-just a radiator lights and bumper,
or a quarter panel/hood from a junk yard deal?!

"No!; 107k miles an '04, that could be frame damage". Period .
No way to get it checked without organizing a rescue,

damn,

we went to see it shipped off ,

just that sad paranoid, angry - grief stricken, and horrified at our own materialism.

we do not have wheels

Still wish the wife was more ghetto,(4)
i'd a kept it for the sound system

The utilities were protected, the car is dead & gone, the wall did its job.
The kiddlets fine, thnx be...
the airbags didn't even slap us upside the head.

I didnt tell her she toasted daddy-o's toy,
'um', some might recognize that it was the extension of . . .
and I was proud of it.

The amazing thing is the heavens might collide and walls you build & climb, pass like favorite cars, left to shine in the junk-heaps of the mind

the round symbols of our rides can scream the blues. (7)

Scroll down to Ch. 10 to read up on the history of El Cap as related by Robert O. Binnewies, former YNP Supervisor.

It seems that following the FA of the Nose, the second ascent was pulled off by Royal Robbins and DON LAURIA.

You've been holding out, Lauria!!!!!!!!!
