Most of y'all here know the drill so I'll give just the basic details.

$35/person for one night. $65/person for both nights
all you can eat

check, paypal, first born, cash work. must pay in advance to hold your spot.

http://www.facebook.com/groups/123690617781321/

http://www.sushifest.org will also have info, etc.

This will be the 23rd SushiFest.

If I wonder one day where my life went....

Cheap useless plug for SbN which will be all legal and running by May 1st

To get ready for this event, What are your ten favorite offwidth pitches in Vedauwoo? Any rating? Every, rating? I'm too close for objectivity and won't mention routes I put up or have a history with, but certainly fantasia, tanfasia, Main Street upper slot right, oftoberlight (disclaimer I think I did the second ascent) deserve mention. But there are others this probably deserves its own (better worded) thread....

Reading a Thread like this is like taking joy and laughter pills. You all continue to be hilarious .... playing off each other like Gracie Allen and George Burns.

Working! I know poor excuse to miss seeing all yo and feasting on Nature's best. One of my funnest JTree Trips was helping Nature in the kitchen at Todd's. Remember, Doug, like bands take time outs to enjoy the audience.

This is going to be pretty cool. My brother is going to come out for this event. He needs to get out.

When I came out of the Creek sushifest and got my messages I was not only informed of Laytons passing but also my ex-step-mom - cardiac arrest. She and my dad divorced 10 years ago but my brother remained very close to her. She use to take him camping and other fun things. Now he doesn't have that so bringing him out for a visit and for sushifest will be pretty special.

we might even be able to get him on a rope.

Jaybro- Sheridan suburbs.

EDIT: Jay I don't know what I can offer in regards to Tensleep. The Tower is only an additional 30 minutes or so from the house compared to Tensleep. If I'm going to go that far to climb, I usually opt for the crystalline rocks of the tower. There is a lifetime of quality "S" routes to be had on the east side of the Bighorns. All without the machismo and radness of TS. Then again, I don't climb the upper grades available in Tensleep.

Even though I don't do that sort of wide myself, I got a lot of laughs, especially from the jokes in the short route descriptions.

I'm still figuring out how to get out to CO this year... maybe I'll cut my hair and trim my beard to a goatee wear some white lycra and sneak into Eldo that way...

Unfortunately my Mom was admitted to the hospital again,
lung capacity at 45%, the chemo did not kill all the cancer.

Sorry to miss this gathering but I cannot really justify
traveling 1500 miles at this time.

Have fun kids, maybe we can meet up next year,
the rock will still be there.

I say we (Jaybro or maybe Dogtown or Dingus) talk Scarpelli into coming...get him drunk, and then have him confide in us what he REALLY thinks the ratings should be for several of his first ascents. If you liquor me up too, I'll provide some muscle. Personally, I'd be interested in:
 Burning Man,
 Worm Drive, and
 Big Pink.

This one sounds like it is going to be epic. Wish I could make it.

Fish meat is not the only flesh going to be flayed at this event...where's that prediction thread?

Oh sure! I feel like I'm just starting one of those "I'd just as soon have a peanut butter sandwich as eat sushi" syndromes. Wouldn't you know it? They can last from a day up to several weeks. Life's a crapshoot!

Yeah Grug we don't want to encourage Bob to go near the bottle.
But fortunately I can help with this having climbed Burningman yesterday, failed on worm drive the day before (though I'd like to think I figured it out) and having do e the first as ent of Big pink- one of them, anyway.....

It's simple really;
Burnigman, the easiest of the bunch, is a total sandbag .11b maybe .11c/d in Yosemite.
Big pink is the kind of .11b that's harder than that.
Worm drive is somewhat harder than that.

For the record I'd put the right tube after big pink and before worm drive.. For reference,Squat also originally rated .11b is about the same, maybe a little easier.

Sorry to miss the specterman finally today.

I took a dawn run on a new trail that, due to failed GPS batteries lead to a 24 mile run without water and consequent, subsequent physical, though still waking, sub collapse. Good thing it was an overcast day.
A long bath and nap have me feeling much recovered.

Spectacular, Murcy!
For the record; "guy from Laramie" is Bill Kuestner, he and mike where apartment mates all through college, an all round good egg he is author of such fearsome face nightmares as Wailing on Napalm, Exit rampant Bachelor party.
"Gary's wife" is Peggy Carpenter, schoolteacher, and "Eeyonkee's wife" Is Elizabeth a shrink whom I expect to publish a paper on all of us any minute now.
A great surprise to see Mia at this event, she is a fellow guide from Moab with whom I sometimes work, (The Larry , too)

Man that Mike has an infectious smile!
