So there's a good amount of options, but I think the Butte area has drawn the most interest.

(from first ascent press)

This map is an overview of the climbing around Butte.
If you notice along I-90 there is a road (Delmoe Lake Rd.) that loops north from exit 233 to exit 241.
There is a multitude of climbing and free camping through-out here, as well as a nice lake to hang out at.

Some developed climbing options include:

-Dragons Back
(Owl Dihedral, 5.8 2 pitch)photos stolen from RC.com

-Spire Rock
(Dream Weaver, 5.9)usually a TR or lead...
(Practice Chimney, 5.5)
(Left Crack, 5.8)
(Tormentor, 5.10)
these are all shot of the Queen, but there is also good 2 pitch climbs on the King as well

-Homestake Pass
(Gillette Edge, 5.7)
(Dancing Fingers, 5.10)
(Hidden Harvest, 5.11)

-Fantasia
photo from RC.com

-Roof Rock(usually a mountain bike approach)

-Whiskey Gulch(bouldering)
(The Spade)

-Humbug Spires (south of Butte)
(The Wedge)
(Dogleg Crack)
(Balcony Direct)

There are also about 7-10 other bouldering 'zones' interspersed through out the area that are in development, along with lots of potential for new routes and problems.

Check out some of the guidebook here:

The Pipestone Hot Springs on the map is closed, but I marked the Renova Hot Springs (south of Whitehall) which is a nice close spot for a (free)post-climb/evening soak.

I would be available for practically any local support needed, including, but not limited too: area beta (climbing and camping), shuttling service, town to camp supply runs, et al.

An airport serves Butte that has a few carrier options.

edit: cuz Blowboarder, your fam' make da trip ?

That's really up to the folk wanting to come up.

Spring might be a nice time, or perhaps sometime close to the(potential) City of Rocks gathering or Vedauwoo gathering....

King and Queen Spire are awesome. Did them a couple years ago on a road trip. Dreamweaver was fun. Not sure if I would boulder it though. But that's just me.

I am favoring the bouldering venue on one of the days, as it works so well for socializing.

I probably went a bit overboard on photos(~30)...I'll try to resize some of the bigger ones...

Just trying to give people an idea of the area...

EDIT for Roy:

It'd be great do a day of bouldering. Lots of options and areas...hopefully we can organize some zone tours for those interested...
