hey there all... say, this book is a conclusion book---(also, don't offer to do so, if you might read one of the first series-ones in lynne's book club)(if i be so lucky, for head injury awareness or seizure awareness months, coming up soon)...

HERE IS WHAT I NEED, PLEASE:
okay, then... here's how i need some help...

1--this book deals with characters 40 years later, so this a "where life starts to end" book...

2--it is dealing with a twin, losing a twin...
and good buddies passing on, etc... and concerns tying up some loose ends, etc...as all folks have situations etc, that they want resolved when the end of life seems near...

3--its kind of like an old-folks readying-up for the great beyond...and what happens when they go...

i have found some reviewers for the other books, but i sure dont know how to find one for this book, as it is hard to lable it as to subjects for finding a reveiwer----death and dying from old-age issues, kind of coveres it, though not as pin-pointed as that (since these issues are not zeroed-in on----ONLY the characters and their thoughts on the past, etc, and how it had touched the present day)....

I WILL PAY FOR THE BOOK:
well...please, if any of you know someone in your family that is perhaps at some similar stage in life (where all their friends seem to be passing-on and THEY are left behind) and would like to TEST DRIVE the book----i will buy it and send it for FREE....

MAINLY--i just need to know if it has any merit as a STAND ALONE book to help folks (in any way) to see that there is more to death, than just dying-off--it affects each person, uniquely... it can be very full and complex, or very simple and straight-forward...

(i already know that it will match the series, so i am not concerned here)

email me, please, or post here and i will get in touch with you and send the book... it is short.. .only 204 pages (but all single spaced)

thanks for whoever you can find... (i may bump this a few times, just for this week and let it die off)... thanks guys...

EDIT: it is from my seizure(epilepsy) awarness jake smith ranch series...

Neebee, if you just want critical comments re: content of your book I can do that. After reading I could email you back. I've worked in Medicare HomeHealth for quite a few years so I'm familiar with elderly patients and the problems they face.

I have alot on my plate, so it would be Nov. to Dec. before I could get my comments back to you.

You're a great gal. Appreciate all your efforts.

Sincerely, Lynne Leichtfuss

hey there lynne... say, sounds good... if i dont get any takers soon, i will do that...

also, when do we give you a book title for the supertopo book club reading, and for your voting...???

i still will see if you might stick the first jake book in for the month of october for head injury awareness month (course, i got to check if october is still the correct month)... :0

(november, should still be for seizure awareness month)---hahaha, maybe i can come and bug you guys again, then, and try for another vote for the book to get picked... :)

then, you all can get back to climbing books... (well, at least it has some~~~ reference to the great out doors... no climbing though.. just climbing through a hard course, is all, but the ol' hero makes a good trail of it)...

thanks lynne... :)

hey there lynne... say, i must add, though---it is not a health care type deal...

it is more like old folks in our family, still being their same old "men of the land' etc...

then, suddenly one starts the old-age-ball-rolling, as the door to the "here ever after" gets jarred open...

good buddies just kind of hurt, when one sees the ol' gang dwindling, and such... also, they get a mite sentimental, towards loosing a mate, etc...

but they takcle it all, the good ol' cowboy, ranch, and greatoutdoors way....

these are 89 year olds, that have been working on a ranch for near all their lives...

*edit:
the not-so-clever part of the book, and perhaps too predictable, is that it is obvious that they are all getting ready to pass-over, as of course, that is the "just of the book"---yet, the hows and whys, are according to how they have lived...

kind of the way it should be, with death's time of age-passing--yet, often times is not (unless one has been fairly healthy)... (though these ways, have been known to happen smoothly in spite of that, too, and if you have talked with enough old-timers that have readied-up to pass on, they have stories to relate that back that up...)

Neebee, I like books and I could give you my imput if you like.
Just referring to Medicare and Healthcare so you would know I can relate to and know about the older generation, therefore I could potentially relate to those in your book.

My bro ran a buffalo ranch for 20 years in Wyo. Just moved back to CA. and I know a few CA cowboys. That's about it for my background check...smiles Lynne.

Neebee, you have two and a half volunteers. Take them up on it. Lots of good perspective. Email Woodie to see if he'll go for it. If you only have one book send it to Skully ... he'll send to me ...and then maybe Woodie...Perfect. Life is Good. Lynners.

hey there ... oh, YOU GUYS... :) (thanks ouch and lynne and captain/or skully:

say, if you really think woody might... steer him this'a'way....
edit: i will email...

say, then, captain ...skully.. which them would you want to read... the one i needed a review for (as, at least i DO got someone readying the others)...

but---if you think the one i listed HERE would be too "predicatable" (as it is tying up loose-ends, as well as dealing with the subject--though, i still need to get some opinions, (expecially guys, as jake is the hero, even though his twin and wife do good for him)... (AND his buddies are fully mentioned as well)...

*LET me know, and i will send it....
just in case you are not sure:
check them out here:

(the first group of books is where you pick from----the others are just tiny print reference, and pocketsize books, and then, a lareger magazine-size book, for folks that need that size...

say, one has a south texas theme, from harlingen, santa rosa, lyford, raymondville area... for any texans...

also, the rest are kind of ex-rodeo rider gone rancher theme, in the libby montana area... in a fiction town...

hey there tinker b... say, wow.. thanks so very much! ...

yeah, for this kind of a story, i couldnt figure out how to find anyone to test drive it...

the other novels i could look into fiction-adventure, or try for some kind of a cowboy book site, or the texas stuff for a book reveiwer... and even as a last resort, i could (and did) try for a romance review at one of their sites (though my book is not really like these modern-day romance book at all--(mine is a relationship-insight book, and involves a whole lot more situations that lead one to decide on marraige or not)...

BUT---this last book, just seemed to be hard to find a reviewer as to "theme" as such, and, as it is FICTION it can't really go in the older-age book sites, as theirs are a type of help-sites , and so, i was kind of stuck...

send me, please, an email with your address... i am low on funds and just sent one out---so---i will have to send it media mail... it will take about two weeks, so hope you don't mind...

say, thanks! and god bless

edit---say, put supertopo, so i will know who you are, or i dont open the email... also: very sorry to hear about your dad (my best buddies lost their mom, due to alzheimers..

hey there anastasia... say, i am trying, with the bits that i can, to at least show folks that there are folks out there in the world that can be heroes even if they "fall off their horse" in mid-show, or mid-race--meaning, it is getting up and keeping on, that is so very much to be treasures, and... so very hard to do...

but... it can be done with the love of a good support-system... a system of loved ones, not a system of systems alone...

hmmm, but you know anastasia... no one sees the books, so no one knows they exist.... i sure hope someday the books start to sell... and even more so, i hope that someday some parts of them will be special in the hearts of others, so that they will go out and help their buddies, whether their buddies have hard-times due to head injuries or seizures, or what ever the need may be....

in life, one must help others over the pitfalls in the trail that leads to victory on the mountain top, or, in a sense victory is only half-done...

hey there say... THIS IS AN OLD POST... wow... :)

but, i did not want to make a new thread and--the other book thread on
my books, did NOT apply here, so i TRIED TO FIND one on the books, that did apply... *those were for the website and
ordering the books...
here, though,
i could use another TEST DRIVE, ETC...

WHAT I HAVE AT THE MOMENT, FREE TO GOOD HOME, IS
tiny pocketbook size, PRINTS (i ordered a new updated set, for
me, when i found i had a RIVER spelled wrong) ...

so, i have these five books to pass on FREE...
JUST LET ME KNOW...

*warning... tiny print... some folks can read this though,
but i know, there may be more folks that just can't...
(these were more for my personal liking)...

so:
you can 'test drive' for any spelling errors, as
'sentence structure, and some writing-quirks are meant to be...
or, or, or...
OR, you can read just for the enjoyment of reading, etc...
what i have, free to good home, etc, is this:

THE FIRST FIVE of the collection of short stories:
(well, i just left one, at, my friend's restaurant)
so, i have the 2nd through 5th
of the SHORT STORIES)
... all based, or actually BUILT from
the first novels, ... same characters, just more 'into their life' etc,
and into adventures, situations, and what-all,
as to:

reclaiming life, after-- head injury, seizures, speech loss, and
memory troubles, etc...
the troubles that one runs into, and the victories, and a
whole LOT MORE...

remember, now:
THESE ARE TINY PRINT...

the books are all printed, as well, in NORMAL PRINT, if you ever want to order them...

also:
a huge thank you, to woody, though he is not here-- he did get one of my books...

so did, skully, and some others, mentioned here...
:)

* though it was a long time back...
however, lynne, DID just get a short story book,
a few weeks?? ago...

thank you, for anyone interested...
just reply here, or email...

or, if you just ask around, perhaps a FRIEND is interested,
and can read small tiny print... :)
