Holy $hit, I forgot about this. This is one of the best (besides RUSH) live performances I've seen. Vocal harmonies, great guitar work, good sound, good music.

You have to see this video. Breathtaking. I can lend out my copy locally, but you gotta belay a lead to get it.

Seriously.

Oh yeah, and Christine McVie is not only super, upper-class English hot, but she has a killer voice....oh, man.

If you can even remotely tolerate Fleetwood Mac, this video is a must see. If you like the Mac you'll really like it.

Good music....period.

What I think about Fleetwood Mac can be nicely summed up in that great bar scene in School of Rock where Joan Cusack goes off on Stevie Nicks.

Incredible.

Needless to say, I'm not a fan....

Oh mal, Stevie NIcks kinda made FM sour, Christine McVie is quite awesome. They learned to get along finally, this video is an awesome reunion.

Give a try for Christine! She's good.

I have the Rumors DVD, and really enjoyed hearing the dissected tracks to appreciate how it was put together. I shared it with a friend who owns a recording studio.

Lindsey is Quirky on the instrument at best and Per my old drummer who is now a big time engineer, Producer(20 +years) at A & M records, Stevie Nicks is an insecure coc head with an entourage following her telling her sh#t doesn't stink. But I 'm glad you enjoyed that video. Actually Bass player says John Mcvies(SP) playing on both Fleetwood Mac and rumors is perfect for that 70's Style and his Allembic tone nails it, of course Mick is in the pocket as always. But as Frank Sinatra said after his Divorce from Mia " What was that all about anyways".....

Christy's has one of the purest voices I've heard. When Stevie first got on board I thought she was hot. Even had a t-shirt made up that said "Fleetwood Mac" on the front and "Stevie Nicks makes my tongue hard" on the back. That T-shirt was never seen again since the day I got married. Damn Stevie sure messed up a good thing sleeping with Christy's man, just as much his fault too of course, 2 to tango and all.

I've got every album they've ever come out with. Just an old Mac rat.

Lookin out for Love was a great tune to play driving home from the "City" San Diego in my pretty dark aqua marine porche. Those were the days.

I guess I just enjoy Fleetwood Mac's Music have never been one to disect it much.

I saw Fleetwood Mac at one of the Day on The Green shows at Oakland Coliseum on May 1st, 1976.

(just found the exact date here):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Days_on_the_Green#1976

They were great, and Stevie was rather easy on the eyes of this 15 year old.
They were one of the opening acts (along with Gary Wright and UFO) for Peter
Frampton, who was by far the biggest act in the USA at that time.

At one point I momentarily passed out from the heat (and probably low blood sugar),
and when I came to, Peter Frampton was just launching into "Do You Feel Like I Do",
and I was still standing - such was the crowd 200 feet from the stage. Gotta love it!

This is a pretty interesting album that few have...

Lindsey can really pick that guitar.

I think in the end they all mixed and matched beds at one time or another.

I lost interest in FM after Then Play On. Loved Peter Green's guitar and vocals. Too bad he lost his grip on reality.

I was on tour with them for almost 2 years. Some of the best times of my life. They really take care of their guys. I have nothing but good things to say about them as people, a real class act...

I was a lighting tech, also known as a rodie. I didn't quit, the tour ended. This was on their last tour from 2003 to 2004.

Zac, where do you live in Cali, I could send you the DVD. You'd have to pay for return shipping, I'd pay to get it there.

I don't like copying copyrighted and distributing it, but maybe I can copy it, keep the copy and send you the original. IS that so wrong?

I dunno, it's a great DVD though.

Hey Steelmonkey - thanks for the heads-up on that record - I just found a torrent of it,
(complete with all of the high-resolution original artwork including inserts, liner notes, ect),
and am downloading it at the moment. Here are the details from the creator of the torrent:

Buckingham Nicks vintage LP transfer: 16-bit flac
1973
Poyldor 5058

-------------------------------------

This is a re-seed of the same torrent that I had posted up here previously.
I had deleted the torrent from my hard drive after had been down for a while.

There are various pirates of this out-of-print 1973 LP floating around.
Some time ago I picked one up to see how it sounded. (Asphalt Records) At
first I thought it sounded pretty good but that it could use a little bit
of pop/click removal work. I had nothing to compare it to at the time.
Eventually I ended up getting a NM vinyl copy of this out-of-print LP.

I gave it a spin to compare it to the Asphalt pirate disc I had.
I immediately realized how much the Asphalt version had been EQ’d for lots
& lots of top-end. It was quite harsh in comparison to the actual vinyl.

That prompted me to do my own needledrop. After an initial cleaning on
an HW 16.5 VPI record cleaning machine, this LP was imported into Adobe Audition
via a Hoontech/Soundtrack Audio DSP24 Value soundcard. The audio presented
here has had no EQ, NR, or other forms of manipulation other than manually \
removing pops & clicks where necessary using the Pop/Click Eliminator in
Adobe Audition. The turntable is an SL-1900 direct drive by Technics. The
cart is an Ortofon OM-20. (Admittedly, nothing exotic here folks.)

I've also included artwork in this torrent for those who care for it.

While this may not be a “definitive” version of this LP, I hope others may
find it an upgrade to other copies they may have acquired.

Tracks:

Track 01-Crying In The Night
Track 02-Stephanie
Track 03-Without A Leg To Stand On
Track 04-Crystal
Track 05-Long Distance Winner
Track 06-Don't Let Me Down Again
Track 07-Django
Track 08-Races Are Run
Track 09-Lola (My Love)
Track 10-Frozen Love

For you vinyl-heads, I've included the run-out groove information with
the track listing on the inside insert.
Enjoy.
-------------------------------------

Sounds like he made a really good copy - can't wait to hear it!

Edit: I mindlessly hot-linked a 528 KB version of the album cover, and replaced
it with a more compressed, dial-up friendly version (132 KB). Here's the original:

I've seen it, great show. I've also seen them live just over 100 times and also been in hours of rehearsals with them. I Love the band but you get a bit burnt out when you've seen any band that much.
