figure i might as well try to get some help while supertaco is still alive.
so, i am working on a new route on the west face of el cap. so far i have two pitches in, but with the weather and job constraints, it has been going slow, and we(my wife and i) could use some talented help.
the first half of the route looks to be almost all aid, with some cool, thin heading in between blank spots. there is definitlly some drilling to do on this climb. but the upper half looks like a lot of free climbing, so i am looking for a great aid climber, and a great free climber, or somebody who can do both. it would be great if i could have a pair of climbers that could push the route without me midweek. ultimately, i would like to take the 3rd week of june to complete it, but i feel behind schedule for that timeline.
i am willing to teach, mentor, and nurture to those willing to try, but noobs need not apply, unless they just want a piece of the action by belaying.

the honor would be all mine to climb with you richard. wouldn't that be coming full circle for us? not sure if we will be out to colorado this summer, but i'll be sure to look you up if we do. take care my friend, steve

Looks like fun, Steve. Too bad I'm getting too feeble for this kind of thing.
Josh Mucci is living in San Diego now.
Steve Bosque and Kevin DeWeese have been active in doing new aid routes in the Valley - you can find them on facebook (and Kevin is on mountainproject too).

had a coupe of great applicants, might already be set up, but still lacking a 5.13 ropegun if anybody with that kind of talent is out there. jordan, are you on supertaco, i could use some of your talent of=n this. ss

It will be full circle.
The route will be named "Full Circle"
