Nope...Best day of bouldering in Hueco...couldn't seem to fall or get tired...all day! I guess I got "lost" a few times at a couple shows though.

If shrooms screwed you up you were already screwed up. Shrooms just showed you your true self.

Not this again.

How old are you?

You never tried them?

What do you think you are missing?

What do you have to lose?

When it comes to these things you have to decide for yourself. If you flip out I wouldn't want it on my conscience.

I've seen people flip out but they get better. Eventually.

Right.

Another opportunity for virtue signalling.

Last time I did shrooms was on a big day windsurfing at Doug's Beach in the Gorge with my friend Kim. As both the wind and the shrooms picked up steam we found ourselves getting increasingly overwhelmed and eventually both blew big jumps in close proximity to each other and just stayed down holding hands across our boards and floated down the river to Dougs West in order to chill some before finally paddling in and bailing.

I'm sure I am scarred for life by the incident never to recover (though it does seem like I should be posting this in the 'First World Problems' thread).

Yeah Greg, what happened on that thread is a total embarrassment. Free speech my ass.

...who can't be bothered to read the science...

Was actually in microbiology at the time I was culturing them en masse and knew and know the science just fine, thank you. As stated by someone else here, anyone whose life was screwed up by shrooms was or was going to be screwed up with or without them (ditto acid or hallucinogen of your choice).

All my experiences were overwhelming positive, including climbing “Room to ‘shroom”. My long term friends will need to confirm the long term affects.

If the thunder don’t get you then the lightning will.

I try not to worry about it too much.

Some of us signal our virtue by worrying about other people signaling theirs. But you all signal your virtue however you like.

For me, other people pointing out other people’s tiresomeness is so tiresome. Not like my awesome third level tiresomeness seems to me.

Just go do what you do, you virtuous people. The rest of are going to, regardless. We might not be so different that way, despite how much we prefer approving of ourselves over other people.

I think that thought might be a holdover from the ‘shrooms, but I can’t remember.

I swear, its not me signalling my virtue. IT'S THE SHROOMS that are doing it.

I'm just along for the ride...

Putting my snide remarks aside, there have been some great stories and ideas on this subject posted before in several threads. The right search could probably turn up some real gems.

Exactly xCon! Most of my spawn started out as other people’s spawn, so I have trouble doing the math right, the way the virtuous folks do.

Happy shrooming!
