I just finished with my latest painting a few nights ago and it got me thinking...... I remember some artist's featured in one of the mags a few months back including Jeremy Collins, Renan and a few other artists.

I bet there's a lot of climbers who dabble in art. So post em up!

Cheers, Ammon

I used to dabble in the making of rustic furniture, that was kinda like art.... no nails or metal, hand turned mortise and tenon joints and Utah rock slabs for tops and seats.

NICE!! Keep em coming.

BLAw, yep... CoilAir it is, haa haa. That was the inspiration from the night after a CoilAir trip to the dropzone in Davis.

This work of 'art' was from the infamous Tucker & Robert attempt to rid Todd Gordons house of killer bees.

Ammon,
I know Gaugin dropped his family and went to Tahiti, but I didn't know Van Gogh dropped acid and went to the Tetons.

the closest thing i've ever done to art. At Marion Oliver McCaw Hall in Seattle i did all of the engineering and custom design for the art installion that blends with the facade/lobby. its a tensioned cable system supporting wire mesh scrims, which lights and images are then projected on.

i've actually never been out there since it was completed, any seatle residents seen it in action?

Nice furniture, Russ! I've often had the same, or a similar idea with using stone for the table top. Beautiful work.

Euroford,

Very nice! Did you have any problems with the execution?

Funny isn't it how rarely you get to see the finished product in person.

I'll have to find some photos of real art, but in the meantime here is some artwork that I've done that's climbing related!!
