Hey Ammon!
I had no idea you were that kind of talented. I just figured you were a kick-ass bigwall climber. Beautiful work man.

Not sure you could call it art and I should probably be able to produce something a little higher on the maturity scale, but here's a couple cartoon dealies I did a long time back for a guidebook I was going to do called "100 Routes in Arizona That Don't Suck"

They seemed funny at the time as I recall...

Nice work starting out with Ammon's water colors. Very nice.

Hey Happie - I've been interested in stained glass for some time. Russ got me a super nice starter kit with grinder, cutters, glass the whole shebang! If the weather turns to crap when your in J-Tree you're welcome to come over to play.

StealMonk, how old are you? Child!

NeverSurfaced:

the whole projected ended up being a huge success, the artist and architectural team were thrilled, and i had a ton of fun designing the structure and fittings and built a small 36x36 model of one corner at full scale. the architect carried it around like it itself was a piece of art. we were really worried about the errection, the strucutre doesn't have any strength until it gets tensioned down and we had no idea how to lift it into place. we were surprised when three guys in sizor lifts just picked it up and hung it in place, no problemo. fortuantly it was pretty lite.

I've always been inspired by the climbing experience. Although I don't know if it qualifies as art, I've found expression in designs that were functional, or wearable, or climbable, etc.
