I start a thread and then realize, maybe it was not the best thing to do.

Then I delete it, only for somebody to want to resurrect it.

Why?

I give up.

Now I know why people leave the forum.

It may sound like I am crying. I probably am.

But after over ten years being a Taco Stander, why does somebody with poor doggerel want to make fun of me.

I guess I am too sensitive.

I wouldn't spend time writing more than a few lines because of the super topo penchant for deletion. not that anyone would care about what I write but the sentiment is there anyway.

Yup, what Tami said. Deleting threads you start after folks have crafted careful, heartfelt and in depth replies will cause people to either avoid posting: or stick to meaningless pithy one liner posts which mean nothing to no one. Norwegian has freely and repeatedly given plenty of heart and soul to us over the years, and you coldly and rudely crapped on his work and his artistic heart. So he restated his position in a new thread that you can't arbitrarily chop and attempt to make disappear just because YOU want too after he has put some art into it.

Anything else you need to know?

Yeah, you are too sensitive. And stop crying over shitting on Norwegian. I understand you think this is all about you, and don't want to consider other people. Sure thing. But what the rest of us saw is that you publicly f*#ked Norwegian in the ass, but he moved on with no (or no publicly stated) issues. Suggest you do as well, and without all the needless drama. Unless you look around, see this point of view as framed by others and from Norwegians viewpoint, and think you should apologize to him. (I would) Do so and then move on. Don't let it define who you are. Learn from it and then get on with life.

You're welcome.

Patrick, really? I'm sure that you can see after X years that what we
All care about is MeMEme, a lot of water under the bridge eh?
This is a great climbing forum and all seem to be welcome to
Spray be bad or good if you understand why folks leave and come
Back or not tell us or leave but first there is the bird thread the trout thread and a wee bit of climbing, not that there is anything wrong with that,

Every thing as was stated above and
Weakest Sauce to take yor' ball and go home.
Weak sauce to delete posts or back edit
Think before you pull the trigger, no one is perfect and an occasional
Screw up or over the top rant is good for the soul and the forum.
I try to think of all of the girls and boys in the sand box
