anyone else noticed the way zimmerman having a shotty and and some pistols and OVER A HUNDRED ROUNDS of ammo is being hyped ? OVER A HUNDRED ROUNDS - that's 30 minutes at the range, people...A box of 22 is 350-500 rounds !!
wtf...I'm watching my local police get a f*#king APC, but having ammo for my guns is now a thing ? What's next ? pRon on my lappy ? Whiskey in my freezer ?? He had ALMOST A LITER of booze !!! And BBs !!! 500 of them !! OMG...
Prolly shouldn't be posting this but I did buy all my ammo legally, so they already have it on a list.
The American Media can F*#KING BITE ME. Don't ask Congress anything about payoffs for votes and insider trades - LOOK !!! AMMO !! FEAR !! It would be funny if the implications weren't so f*#king staggering...

I used to buy 500 rounds at a time of my favorite.. .22
If other stuff would have been cheap I'd have bought tons of that stuff too. Anyone shooting less than a hundred rounds from time to time is not going to get very good.

butt Zimmerman only hadda cap one (two?) rounds and he WAS/IS well-known. I mean c'mon, where are the gun company sponsorships? he could have a catchy slogan to intro for the company, something to the tune of "one shot one kill. not just for Delta force snipers anymore."
and for all the fearmongering I have absorbed, when I went down to the city to buy bulk .22 rounds, I had zero problem snagging up 500.

I'm not defending zimmerman - imho he took it too far...
I'm pointing out how DHS buying 450 million (MILLION) hollowpoints is a non-issue, nothing to see here, but a person with OVER A HUNDRED ROUNDS is terror/fear/alarm/run RUN RUN RUN for your life ?
How is this in any way sane and sensible ?

I buried them in my Zombieacolypse spot with sum gun oil, fishhooks, iodine/water filter, 750 Bics, etc.
I think the main reason that the guv'mint/media phreaks when they spray about just how many more rounds a person had, it is usually in reln. to a specific individual's actions that involved spending at least a round or two into another human being. if he had 51 rounds, it woulda been "Z-Man Busted with MORE than 50 rounds." I mean, c'mon just support your dying news-biz.

I have this horrible feeling the climate change and economic models we see in the media are not the ones the gubment is looking at...they know what's coming sooner than later, and are prepping harder than the beans and rice crowd ever did...
But I'm just a high end systems analyst with a proven track record of complicated and hidden problem solving - what do I know...

I think that some aspects of American news can be worthwhile. You know, like Democracy Now! (Air America, KVMT outta Paonia) or Dr. Michael Savage (you know, he is, like our old friend HST, a doc of journalism).
