I looked late this afternoon and found no people tho there was some equipment and a rope a couple hundred feet up to the east of El Cap Tree.

I think I'm obsessed. I have given big wall 4 tries and failed every time. I swear I am going to give it up every time I fail.....but can never forget it.

Don't give up yet oh Great Hairy One. I think my record is like 2 for eight. Those 2 sends made the six failures moot. I think I am 0 for 4 or 5 on the Column, but 2/2 on Half dome and 2/2 on Leaning Tower. Don't beat yourself up, just get it done.

Anyone on El Cap right now is on meds right now. This is some of the crappiest weather on earth in Central California, but at least we've only seen a couple of funnels. Fergeddaboudit! And I spelt that correct.

There just might be someone up there right now, but what do I know? They told me they were going for it. PDH route, too. Hope they brought their Lovetron.

Dang that Shipoopoi. Nippin' at my heels again. Why don't you just get old and retire, Steve???

Werner saved me on my first big wall route

Werner didn't save me on my first "Trip" on the Stone but he was definitely involved. I wonder if he remembers that one. Turd Boy? Or should that be floating Turd Boy? Who loves ya, baby? Early eighties, winter screw-up, think Bob Williams.
