Claude, I originally sent out a dozen copies to some of the participants in the actual clips and a few others. hardman and hardman-knot agreed to make copies in exchange for a personal copy for them. They both have DVD copiers whereas I was doing my copying on my computer (at about 15 minutes a copy). You might try either of the "hardmen" to see if they are still willing to make copies.

How does one copy a DVD movie on a computer?

To copy on a computer you need a DVD writer and the software that it comes with. The copy program basically pulls the data off the DVD and then prompts you for a blank DVD to write to. If you are only making one copy it takes about a half hour but after the initial copy, you can make multiples copies from that one image at about 15 minutes a copy, as long as you don't exit the program.

I gave my copy to Link to make copies in his video lab.
Havn't seen any copies yet and he still has the original from the dogfather, Link has been very busy I think.

For those that got copies from someone other than me, here is the insert I included with the first batch. There are enough copies out there now that this may be of interest since I didn't post this with the original thread:
All the segments on the DVD were all taped off of TV shows when they first aired so you don’t have to worry that I copied an existing tape or dvd (copyright isses). This accounts for some of the poor quality of some segments and occasional snippets of commercials or other shows. The last segment even has a nice Kansas Tornado Warning on the screen during the taping. At some point, I copied some of them to one tape so that degraded the quality a little also. Viewing in a window on a computer seems gives the best quality. I didn’t test every DVD after I burned them so if yours doesn’t work, let me know and I will burn another copy.
I didn’t label the DVD’s since I will let you put on it whatever you want.
Chapters:
1. Henry Barber, Pete Livsey, Al Harris in England with EB's and no cams!!
2. Bachar soloing in Yosemite
3. Bachar soloing in JT
4. Werner, Bev Johnson and Kauk attempt to free the Nose
5. Small part of Kauk and Moffet on Lost Arrow
6. Kauk and an English gal on Old Man of Hoy
7. Kurt Albert and Gullich in Yosemite

I made (at least) 16 copies and sent them out. If any of those 16 would be kind enough to
share the love, that would be great. At least one of those 16 offered to help out,
so this would be a great time to follow through with the offer...
If all else fails, hit me up via e-mail––but only after all else fails. ;-)

The DVD-burner software should let you copy an ISO image (exact copy) of the DVD to your hard drive as a file, which you can then use to burn a new DVD whenever you want.
If the software that comes with the DVD burner won't let you rip and burn images this way, there are freeware and shareware programs out there that will.
What's that thing with Kauk in cowboy boots, telling people to stay off his fixed lines and projects?

I'd love a copy and would be willing to help distribute to the east coast crowd. If anyone would be willing to send me a copy I am more that willing to burn more off and send them out. Thanks,
Luke

Much thanks. I got my copy today which means that my time-senstive work will have to be late now. Must. watch. video. Sort of worried about the "seabird incident" though....

I received a copy from Radical this week. I've got a burner on order, so could make some copies for folks in a week or so.

I would love to get a copy of this. Thanks a lot dogfather for putting this together.
I do have a dvd burner and am more than willing to "earn" my copy by making copies for others.
Anyone have a spare copy to send to me?
