Interesting ! I used to shop at Cosco. Now it's too expensive to renew membership. I am looking at my first ever trip into a Walmart tomorrow.

Frankly, it scares the heck out of me. I drove to one a few years back, got about 10 feet inside the front door and thought...OMG, where do I even start to find stuff ? The place was bigger than some small Countries. They don't even pass out road maps either.

Second thought, maybe I'll just do without. Peace, Lynnie

Bad taste to make fun of the poor, dumb and ugly IMHO. And by-the-way they'll get back at we coastal elitists by electing Palin in 2012. (But I'll admit I can't stop looking either)

rocker, funny you should say that about palin. my first ever walmart was in wasilla. but my smuggest ever walmart was in butte. stopped in for campfuel in the midst of my vagaboondery, and was just tickled to see so many products that i didn't need.

now the joke's on me. i've got a toilet brush for every commode, and on and on. my god, i thought we got smarter with age

hey there, say, i will have to check out your link, i reckon..

say, we used to take the kids to walmart, as it was one of the only "everything in one spot" stores, in south texas, way back, when it was new...

we really needed it then, for to get clothes, etc, as there was not much around for shopping in our small town...

most folks were just our usually tex-mex town's folks, same as we saw at the more expensive mall... it was, for us, kind of like an extention of "the ol' market place" type stuff....

though, back then, not too many strange folks, being that:
they all hung out in the old part of town, near the bars and pool halls...

*not sure how this walmart fares, as to people-folks, as i dont go too often, but:
it SURE is the ONLY place nearby where i can buy wires to make earrings... being that the only OTHER place is hobby store way off, and takes too much gas to reach it... :(

and if and when i can buy juice, they are about the only spot where i can afford it... (this town does have a "sams" around, but it off the other way (not quite as far as the hobby store---but ODDLY right next to the OTHER walmart that this kind-of-small town has)...

As long as they stay out of my way when I'm at the WalMart, they can be as ugly as they want.

Ha-ha-ha!

Are some of these specimens fabrications to validate their website ? I'm suggesting self-anointed elitists will go to great lengths inventing caricatures they can feel superior to.

I rarely see such individuals at Wal-Mart…..excepting when I catch a reflection of myself in the glass.
