Mount Tamalpais

Some of the best views in the entire Bay Area can be found on Mt. Tam. Near the viewpoint on top of the popular East Peak are some of the best views and a few small cliff-bands with fun 3rd and 4th class scrambling, good top-ropes and a few top ropes and/or boulder problems/solos from 5.0-5.11 and VB-V4. There’s also the fun Camel Pie aka Parking Lot Boulder with a few V0/1-V4/5 problems and a long, pumpy V6/7 traverse next to a big dirt parking lot off the right side of the road on the way up to the East Peak. The Bootjack Boulders are .5 miles east (downhill) from the Bootjack Picnic Area and have about 5-10 problems from V0-V6ish.

The newly discovered and developed Bay View Wall and ATF Boulder and The Lakeview Boulders are all soon to come!!
