Spring Break 2011 the kids and I went camping in Pinnacles and had some good scrambling adventures. First we checked out the little caves and reservoir area on the east side:

With little fanfare we launched into the high peaks loop trail. It's around 6 - 8 miles and quite a bit of elevation gain; my kids are not routinely doing big activities, so this was quite an accomplishment for them, especially on a warm day.
