Was up in the Canadian Rockies in the middle of Last month and managed to climb Sea of Vapours with a rope gun, Dave. I wrote up our story of the day, enjoy.

Nice TR. The first time I tried to load it the photos would not load. Looks like good times and glad you are still around to post it up.

Nice report on an awesome looking climb. Is this the same Dave Rone that climbs in the Black Hills a lot in the summer? If so I think my younger brother terry has climbed with him a bit. Nice job.

Funny these great tr's get taken off the forum list so fast. Even the crappiest forum topic never gets taken off.

Not sure how big I found your blog via smother source in the kart couple weeks.

I did not hump it cuz you have to Vojvodina over to a blog, fatuous reason.

Bump for an awesome TR.

Sea Of Vapors is on my must do list..

Yeah, I'm the guy who forgot his harness. Didn't think I'd read about it here, but it's a good story. Jon did a great job of writing it up. For now, I'll just mention that the rope we cut wasn't a perfectly good rope. Jon volunteered to bring the ropes and one of them (the one we cut) had a core shot! He pointed it out on the first day we climbed and thought maybe he'd retire them after our trip! It was the first time we climbed together, Jon's a great partner, we had a blast!

Mike, I do spend a lot of time in the Hills, climbed with Terry. Hope to get together with you some time.
